I always wanted a mr frosty too! And never had on
but we did have a very old soda stream, but didn't ever use it as it was the very old fashioned one which had an orange handle on the side that could chop your fingers off if you weren't careful! Anyone who had one will know what I mean!
We normally have a limit of around £100 for DD and DS for their main presents and then about £20-25 for their stockings, we just do fun cheap presents from Santa as my 2 believe than mummy and daddy have to buy their main presents as Santa has so many children to buy for...plus I don't want him getting credit for my hard work!!!
This year me and my OH have set a limit of £50 for main present and then £20-25 for our stockings to each other...but I know my hubby doesn't ever stick to this, my feelings are that we have had our Christmases and its our kids turn now, although I do love receiving gifts, my favourite part is seeing my friends and families faces when They open their presents.
I also watched the holiday! I'm hoping to make a trip to trago mills soon (anyone who live in Cornwall will know what I mean) as my mum went on Monday saying they had their Christmas department open...and it's massive woohoo!!!0 -
Incase anyone wants to make a pulse race this Christmas!

2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
My bf got a soda stream last year off his mum as he only drinks fizzy pop I think it has been used about twice!! I don't drink fizzy drinks && neither dose his mum so it was a huge waste of money but his little cus loved it!! She now has it!
I always wanted a mr frosty but mum wouldn't let me have one for some reason!!
On another note I've found a pirate ship for my brother on eBay which I'm going to get in a few days!! I did get him a Disney jigsaw which lightening McQueen drives around but he found it the other day && bf didn't no it was for Xmas && gave it him!! I really need to make a start on my presents as I hardly have anything!!0 -

OMG i've read so much and completely forgotten on what I wanted to comment on ~ stupid pregnancy brain :rotfl:
I normally spend between £100-£200 on dd. Its hard though as for example I bought her pinnochio dvd which was £15 which looks nothing but I do try to be money neutral or hold out for a good deal! Ooh if anyone sees bananagrams cheap then let me know as its what mil's partner wants for xmas! I cant actually remember what else to say so shall go for now!Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
Shall also add ~ I ACTUALLY GOT MR FROSTY!!!!
It was quite good until you run out of all the sachets/flavours and then I don't think it got used again! Mine was a big snowman with a ice mincer in his belly & a little penguin and the juice came out of his bobble hatI did always want a cadburys mini dispenser but never got one LOL!

I don't remember getting our first microwave, but I do vaguely remember getting our first video player. Oh god I must be ancient.
Laughed a lot when I saw this. I was also going to post that I remember when we got our video recorder, but thought it would make me sound really old so didn't. I guess I am though. : )
I remember we got the video recorder and someone brought round a ermm dubious pirated copy of ET. I was crackly as hell and had heads getting in the way etc, but we absolutely loved it.
I have been trying to thing of my best childhood pressie (not in value, just loved the most) and its close between my Sindy House, and my 'Munchman' ( a handheld Pacman game), and my typewriter.Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -

I managed to pick one up in poundland last year. seen them a few times but they fly off the shelves.
ReformedShopaholic - they're fab - you're soo clever.
Been into B&M today - loadsssssss of Christmas (and Halloween) things out
I can't find any pics of the cups (and phones died so can't take a pic today) but they had tumblers like this - but coloured with santa or reindeer or snowman or 1 more that I can't remeber.
They aren't fantastic quality tho. they had halloween ones (shown above) in too so i got my boys 1 each - and within seconds the drink was leaking out the bottom where it wasn't sealed properly.
only 99p but hubby going to town tomorrow anyway so gonna see if they will exchange it. otherwise we'll have 1 cup and 2 kids
Debated getting some of they choccies - they had boxes of mini toblerones - but they were OOD in October this year.
They had the mini dairy milk dispensers - £5.99 and refils £1.20 (ish).
Febreeze set and refresh air freshners in spiced apple - £1.99 (same as home bargains. with the spare refill.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
