ps; Fearne Cotton make up range in Boots is aimed at that sort of age range, my DD had some last Christmas, it's quite funky.
Thing is all teens are different I guess, some are into designer clothes and make up, some are into high street, some into indie music, some rock, pop, so personally I'd try and ask a parent if you can what sort of stuff they are specifically into in that respect?0 -
Loving the Moshi calenders but not a hope in hell of shelling that type of money out. I feel posh when I buy the Kids a Thorntons one and get the name iced on it. Loving the Disney shop on though but £24 for 2 is pretty steep but the fact that I can reuse it is swaying me. Might nip in the Disney Store tomorrow to see when there getting their Christmas stock out.
made me giggle, I always feel the same when I get the Thorntons one with name iced on it! :rotfl:
I have one of the Disney advents between my two, the boxes are big enough to put 2 small gifts in so they have one each, if that's any help? theres enough room for eg 2 little Lindt reindeer or 2 of the Quality Street big wrapped purple thingies0 -

And if you go through Top Cashback you can get a 15% off code....but the thread on Grabbit is now saying the expiry date on the boxes of chocs is in October.0 -

Hi everyone,
They're 18 and 16, eldest is currently job hunting and youngest is in 6th form. Budget up to £20 each max.
For the one who is job hunting, could you get her a good 'work' handbag which she can use for interviews? You hopefully would be able to pick one up in somewhere like TK Maxx or I find TJ Hughes is good for that sort of thing if you have one?0 -

You would hope so wouldn't you? Seems ridiculous to sell chocolates in a christmas box which go out of date before christmas, but someone on the grabbit thread had bought them (in store perhaps) and the date was in October. This was for the boxed chocs not the advent calendars BTW. Perhaps a phone call could confirm before someone orders. Myself, I'm not putting temptation in my way, LOL!0 -
