  • Well my boots && wilkos doesn't have any Xmas stuff in yet neither does my home bargains but my local pound land has a tiny bit of Xmas stuff out! I managed to pick up a travel cup with blue snowflakes on, also one of the biscuit Disney tins, I also got one off the glass jars for sweets!!

  • YAY hubby has agreed I can do 'treat/ night in' hampers for his family. So I'm gonna start a list of what I can buy.

Boooo - Arg0s have now sold out of the bargain hampers of all stores near me and I need 2 more.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • dollypop. was in my local poundland yesterday (ok not by accident) and they have the jars in stock (on the baking bit).
Picked up 5 but seeing as they are a really good size might see if the one in town has some today for using in the other hampers.

Not 100% sure but I think it depends on whether you count 'today'

As Opee said its 101 days (not including today) my kids work it out as 102 sleeps :)

    Hi everyone,

Am doing really well with shopping so far, but am stumped with DH's nieces. Normally we I've them money but tbh I'd rather give them a gift (as it'll hopefully save us a bit of money ;))

They're 18 and 16, eldest is currently job hunting and youngest is in 6th form. Budget up to £20 each max.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

my DD is 15, she would always like Amazon giftcard/vouchers, Itunes same, giftcard for New Look (though depends on what they are into!) there is always a DVD or book she would like (Hunger Games?).

I find that teen girls love those knitted style hats with the animal faces on them? they all wear them round here and they are cute too! Next have several online.

Might it be worth asking their parents? I always find stuff like Body Shop lip balms go down well, each year Body Shop do a 'lollipop' style gift box of 6 lip balms for Christmas and there are always offers on as BS.

I find most years mine have something specific they are in to so it might be worth asking for a current interest? (eg mine into a specific US tv series, so I could look for stuff like tie in books, t shirts, and general merchandise)

If they have been on hols to or are keen to visit specific place, guide book, maps?

    hope that helps!
