Thank you for the people who replied regarding wedding magazines.. sorry i can't remember you're usernames but i think i thanked you all (sorry if i missed it). I bought a subscription to perfect wedding as I could get nectar points for that one :). Had to read many pages as I haven't been on in a few days.

Christmas news: got the freemans christmas book in the post this morning! :D Already marked some things!
  • hows this for an idea in wrapping up chocolate instead of a tin, hamper, selection box?

Wow this is fab, so clever and simple! Will be defiantly doing this for friends children's who we don't normally buy for

Had a very good days shopping! Managed to get 4 spiderman toys from pound land for ds stocking, also some moshi bubble bath for dd from there too..and it smells nice, normally the cheaper kids branded ones smell horrible!
Also had to nip in to my local morrisons, Christmas stuff is out :T hurrah
They also had moshi pens and note pads half price, so got then for dd stocking.
They also had the giant chupa chups, 10 Lilly's in a large one which I know they will love, quite expensive at £4 each but I know they will think they are amazing!

Also managed to get some plastic salad bowls and serving dishes in a bright green, perfect for Halloween and kids parties (both my kids are born at the end of oct and this year are having a joint Halloween party)...they were a bargain from dunelm mill at 25p each!

  • I am getting very very excited for Christmas this year! ( As you can tell from all my emoticons LOL) but also today on the news it said something about the Twilight film on 16th November and that it was "only" 2 months away - I then started telling hubby I would be watching it in the Cinema, the day of release whether I was in labour/with baby no matter what :rotfl:

haha I love november when the twilight film comes out then it's only as month till Xmas
    :santa2: :rudolf:
    :D
  • must track down a Poundland somewhere! I found packs of Olympic Drumstick lollies in Sainsburys this morning for 50p, Im not sure if its just the bag that is Olympic themed or the loll wrappers, but either way kids will love those, maybe for advent calendar

LOVE that! thanks for posting, will give that a go!

I thought I would give the kids the Rudolph Monopoly all wrapped up on December 1st, as 'the first gift of Christmas' after we've put up the tree and had mince pies (Ok, so that probably will be last week in November as we can never wait that long!) so that we can play it all through December

Thanks for the feedback chirpychick - I've added a few things to my list and will let you know how they turn out.

Also - regarding the Rudolph Monopoly, has anyone bought the Christmas-opoly which is also on Amazon or is it the same thing?

I had my GTT this morning and I was feeling a little sorry for myself afterwards so I decided to build the baby's cot

GTT is horrible so no wonder you felt sorry for yourself, you had more energy than I did after it so well done for building the cot.

Twinkle - Yes 4 weeksish should make you well on the way to being mended. When I had one with last bubbba I was surprised how long it took to get movement back though.
Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700
    :TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!

Re the Moshi Monsters gifts, I noticed in teh Next Chrsitmas preview there were Moshi Monsters slipper socks, £4, they are in the age 3-16 girls section, also noticed there was an underwear pack as well, won't let me copy link as you have to sign into account first, but if you don't have a preview the Christmas directory will be out in the next couple of weeks online, or in store you can order to store from it :)
