choccymoose-Your new years eve sounds lovely, hope you manage to do it again.
We dont do anyting really although have done party food/games in the past.
BBTHREE-Thanks for the good luck wishes, hope I am employable lol. I must admit I would love being nosy at what gifts people are buying. Nativity is very funny and as a previous poster said Sparkle and Shine will be forever in your head afterwards lol!
my3girls-Good luck with the operation, I really hope it doesnt scupper any of your xmas plans. x
Bought some keyboard key shaped shower gels in B&M yesterday, only 50p each! They are in a tub shaped like a keyboard key (they had different colours/scents) with different things written on them, CRTL, ESC etc. I got 4 altogether, 1 for OH, one for OHs nephew and two that are yet to be allocated! My DS was supposed to be going back to school today but has a bad case of tonsillitus. He is watching me type this and this is his contribution, dictated by him and typed by me : Smiley Roll
Writing my millionth xmas list earlier I realised Ive bought mainly smaller presents and hardly any main presents, I do this every year grrr! The only people that are finished are one of my brothers, one BIL, my friend, friends DD and erm thats it! I wont really have any spare money until mid november either.'They only had one cow!'0 -

Just had a look through the Poundland Christmas range http://www.poundland.co.uk/product-range/special-occasions/christmas/
I actually want tons of it this year! Hope my store carries the bits I want, they only had a few things in today.
I did find two little ceramic gingerbread houses. They're actually money boxes but I'm going to add them to my Christmas village. They're so flipping cute.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -

Thanks for posting that link, I just had a good ten minutes of xmas fun looking through it
I'm quite impressed with poundlands Christmas range this year, and it was quite good last year too. Other previous years it has been awful and looked like cheap tat that you wouldn't even pay a pound for- But the past few years they've really had some good stuff, and quite a few off their pieces don't at all look like they only cost a pound!
There is a brillaint 'pound shop' about an hour away from me, its not part of a chain and i have no idea where they get their stock from, but one year i managed to get a huge selection of candle holders/ornaments etc from there that all still had the original prices on from wherever they came from before and i spent £10 and got over £55 worth of stuff!
Last year i spotted the exact same stuff i'd bought in a very expensive garden centre so i have no idea why they were so cheap, Every year its the same though, they get really up market, expensive stock from the year before i presume and sell it for £1 or sometimes its 2 for £1! I can't wait to go this year againHaving a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -

Would you mind sharing the name/where it is please? Just in case any of us are nearby? It sounds fab.
It's in cheshire. I try and look up the address for anyone if they're near there and let them know exactly where it is.
The two times i've been i've got some absolutely beautiful stuff at christmas,i've never been during the rest of the year so i don't know what it's like then.
I think it may be a bit hit and miss you may need to be there at the right time because the first year i went, my EX MIL was so impressed with what i'd got she went three weeks later but barely managed to get anything... However i did go at the end of october because im so impatient when it comes to christmas. You know what they say...The early bird catches the worm :rotfl:
On a completely separate note, i just went to check on DS as he is going through a phase of his quilt ending up on the floor every night for some reason and he slightly woke up and said 'I knew at some point the witch would find his way inside' Either i'm the witch or he's having one scary dream haha!Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
