lushlifesaver - Does your other half use any energy bars / drinks? I know it's not particularly exciting but it might fill a couple of days? When my boyfriend turned 30 I wanted to buy him 30 presents, he was training to do the London to Paris bike ride at the time so a couple of his presents were energy bars and drinks! x0

Hello again
I sort of joined the thread and then sort of wandered off again, can I please come back in?
Today's household jobs here involve packing all the birthday gifts we have ready for posting, so that the decks are cleared for ChristmasI am getting so excited, and we have wintry weather so completely appropriate.
We do an activity advent calendar here, but it always has a little sweetie inside it. This year the sweetie will be the small girl's chewy multivitamin sweet - she still thinks it's a treat and not an essential so it does double duty trying to convince her she needs to eat all her lunch, too.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

We got the keys for our new house yesterday and we popped over there last night, it was very strange! I think it's because i've never bought anywhere before and it's a huge responsibility! Anyway I was stood in the living room already planning where I was going to put the tree!
We took over our stuff from the loft which included all of the Christmas decorations, when we were leaving we were concerned as we couldn't lock the back gate, my OH said "oh well we haven't got anything to nick" and I just thought "Haven't got anything to nick?? WHAT ABOUT ALL MY CHRISTMAS STUFF????!!!!"
:rotfl:Men!!! I know that strange feeling, you feel so disorientated don't you? I found the first night in our new house both times we moved felt so wierd, and I kept thinking 'I don't like this!' but 2 days in I loved it, guess the older I get the more change seems to really unsettle me more, when do you move in? will you post some piccies!
hoping to get my work up to date so I can watch F1 first practice this morning, always love watching Spa despite the rain!! this break has seemed too long hasn;t it? even though Ive been away I've still missed not haveng a GP the last few weekends0 -
Hiya,
does anyone know where I can get some festive yankee candles. I love them but don't fancy paying the heavy price Ive seen for some of them lol
x
yes I got the votive ones (2 inch high) on Amazon marketplace, I got Christmas Cupcake and Christmas Eve, £1+ each a few weeks ago, will try and find the name of the seller, but I filtered it by cheapest first as lot of people selling the same ones!
was so tempted in the US they has a TJ Maxx (no idea why J and not K!) and in there they had the really big Yankee Candles jars which are £25 here .. for $4.99! literally had no room left in suitcases or luggage allowances and those candles are really heavy, dammit! :mad:0
