Pip was due to arrive Christmas Day 2008 (didnt arrive till Jan 9th but thats another story!) so I was VERY pregnant in run up to Chrimbo, OH had to turn the channel when the John Lewis Ad was on as it made me roar in a flood of tears every time I saw it!! It was the one where they were all coming home to be with their Familys.
Last year the little boy with the pressie for his Mum and Dad made me sob just as much!! :rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

I must go about 3 times a week, sometimes its just to be nosey though not to shop. They get new things in and out so quickly sometimes i think i have an issue where im scared if i dont go, i'll miss out. Even if its something i don't actually even want, or need haha. The time it takes to get there doesnt bother me, its the darn petrol prices grrr! I must admit I went twice last week though cos I just had to go back and get a few more Olympic goodies.
I spotted a lovely Lightning McQueen shaped storage case for toy cars in Asda ages ago but it was nearly £19 so thought Id wait until it was reduced a bit. It went to half price last week but they had loads left so thought Id wait a bit longer and today they were £4.74!They also had tyre shaped small cases for 60p!! so got 2 of those too, they will make DS fab bundle along with the 4 Olympics cars I got from HB last week. :j Im still peed off at OH for selling DS' large Dinoco storage case/toy for £1 a a car boot ages ago, it was in the for sale box by accident and got put out with the other toys and they go for £7-£20ish on ebay!! Didnt want to sell on ebay though, was peed off cos DS still played with it and I know he would love it now so will probably end up paying silly money to buy one from ebay!
Oh I forgot I also got DS a Kreo transformers set for £2.39! Less than half price, they had different ones and bigger sets for £4.99 but no more pennies left.

When argos first had that huge toy clearance on a few weeks ago, i managed to get DS one of the very large kreo transformer sets for £8.50 instead of £39.99! I was over the moon cause he's been asking for it since it first came out. Would be nice to have some of the other little set and other characters to go with it at xmas, so ill have to have a look on friday thanksAsda's a bit out of the way for me, but will give me an excuse to get out of the house and occupy ds for a bit, I've got secretly buying things whilst he's there down to a fine art lately! haha!
Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
hello can I join in the chatter please?
I started my Xmas shopping today! A T-shirt and a wall poster much suited to my brother who is 23 with special needs.
Hoping to get a couple of presents a week for people in the run up to Xmas.
Last Xmas was the first without my dad (he left for another woman last year) so everything was hard but this year me and mum feel more in control and want to make it one to rememberNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

Thanks for the info on Asda sale - my nephew loves Cars so I've told my sister. I've already got his present. I was really lucky to get a Body Shop glitch and this morning got two of the big sets delivered, a Shower gel and £5 gift card for £7.99. I think the glitch only worked for a very short time and I never get these things so I'm amazed it worked. I tried to do an order for my sister immediately after and it was already stopped.0
