I just love the elves ideas. I have my grandchildren every Friday (ages 17months, 3 and a half and 4 by December.

I am going to think of things that the elves can do before one of their visits. They will love it! They love mischief anyway so they will really appreciate "someone else" winding grandma up. LOL.

  • I was sure i posted this last night but it doesn't appear to have gone through pffft lol. Anyway.... I was browsing last night and managed to find these advent calenders . I wanted to get DS one last year either lego or playmobil but they were all £25 plus and i just thought it was a tad to expensive , I know they all shoot up in price nearer to christmas and most are still around £18 now on the internet but i came across these two for £8 delivered . So i ordered one for Ds last night and it was dispatched on this morning.
Im really happy , just thought id post here incase anyone else is interested in getting one to put away until december :) If you google them they both have brillaint reviews .

This site is great if you want to pick up some make up or perfume. Might be good to put in hampers.

Does it have to be playmobil for her? Theres lots of other girl one that arnt branded but contain toys. This hello kitty on on amazon is £10.99 but might be suitable and enable you to get your boys the play mobil ones? :)
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hello-Kitty-290230-Advent-Calendar/dp/B0043IJ060

Or theres the littlest pet shop one for £14.49

The cheapest i can find the playmobil equivalent for a girl is here for £13.47 ? But it jumps up to £17.40 with postage.

thank you so much she would love the littlest pet shop one! i didnt even realise other brands did them!

but now im umming and arhing as the knights one would be perfect for ds1, and i was thinking of the dino one for ds2.
the problem is he will only be 17months at christmas and realistically is too young for it! i can hardly open it for him and let him see from afar can i!

so any ideas what i can do for ds2?
i dont want to get the other two these and then go 'here son, heres a small slab of chocholate'! would like something as fun as the other two's but age appropriate?
