or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona

Been reading this for awhile now but needed to post to ask about this elf thing? Can someone enlighten me please, sounds like fun. My youngest is 4 so I get to do all these fun things. Older ones are 10, 11 and 14 so the magic has faded/fading for them.

Only bought a couple of things so far as Ive had to buy a new (to me) car and its back to school shopping for the next couple of weeks but then I can really make a start.

Hi all! I've been on holiday for a week and have just been catching up on everything, glad to see that everyone is still making progress with their Christmas preparations! Even though I've been on holiday I still managed to pick up a Christmas present! :T

Whilst I was on holiday my OH and I went on the Brecon Mountain Railway, and I noticed on their leaflet that at Christmas they have a festive train that takes everyone to Santa's Grotto! It looked like fun, so if anyone has kids and lives near the Brecon Beacons it might be worth looking into. I also got the latest copy of my Cross Stitch magazine today and in the next 3 issues they're going to have Christmas freebies to stitch! That made me happy! :D

I popped into Tesco earlier and they have loads of the big tubs of Celebrations for £5, this got me excited too as it is the very subtle start to Christmas things coming in i'm sure!

i went on the brecon railway years ago with my little girl and one of my favourite memories as it was snowing and an amazing trip x

    Hi,
I've been reading this thread for the past few weeks and thought I'd say hello!
I have three kids to buy for 15,13 and 6, plus hubby and a few other rellies.
Have not made much of a start to my Christmas planning yet,
Previous years I did everyone a movie hamper...with a few things like face masks and nail polish for the girls put in so it was like a girls night in one.

So far for christmas I have bought dd,who is the eldest, a lovely silver necklace from Ortak which was in their sale and last week in The Works I found The Hunger Games Trilogy at about 7 quid which I thought was good. She likes reading but has seen the film and raved about how good it was.

No idea what to buy my boys, they like Lego and computer games. I usually spend less than 300 quid between my three kids. I could perhaps buy one big present for them all to share, did that before when I got them a Wii and they just got a few wee bits.

If anyone has any suggestions for pressies I'd love to hear your ideas.

*waves hello* just got back from America, long anticipated, planned and saved for, had an amazing time but overspent like mad!!

picked up some little bits and bobs over there to use in advent stockings etc, be nice memories for the kids, am totally drowned in post holiday blues though, but have been cheered up catching up here!
