All lovely and quiet here. DS is setting up his kindle and I'm going to have a tidy. Saying that I've had some sort of allergic reaction this morning and one eye is streaming with water. Very odd as there is nothing different here.
So i have had a call from one DD and DGS the other DD and two DS's have seemed to forget us yet again. I am use to it but I do feel for youngest DS when they don't contact.
It's tipping down with rain and I do feel for all those that have been flooded out etc. hope their Christmas brings a little cheer.
Anyways I shall be popping on and off here during the day as promised

Hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas Day so far

I am writing this whilst sat in the bath (sorry if tmi!). Have done presents with OH - he loved all of his and I got some great stuff - have had smoked salmon bagels and a bottle of VERY special Fortnum and Mason champagne that OH won in a raffle at work (very MSE!).

My sister is picking us up in half an hour (she doesn't drink so is being designated driver, bless her) to go to my mum's to do presents and then from there to my uncle's for Christmas lunch.

Perfect day so far - I am so happy! I truly hope all of you are too xxxxx

Very quiet here. I got up at 9 :eek: dd up at 9.40 :eek: ds up at 10.30 :eek: back to bed by 11.10 :eek::eek:

All presents have been put away so we are pretty tidy. Have not put dinner on as nobody knows what they want. Will probably end up with pizza at about 8 tonight.

Am sitting here, still in PJs watching a repeat of a repeat of Time Team. I actually keep forgetting its Christmas day.

Had a slight panic this morning when laptop wouldn't turn on, but after taking the battery off and blowing it, it woke up and turned on. Really didn't fancy using the tablet or phone all day. I like to type on proper keys.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Hope you've all had a great day so far! Mine ended pretty late lastnight after getting home from work dropped my sister off her hamper, extra food essentials gift bag and a bag of stuff for their kittens. She was so thrilled with the hamper she tucked into it with her OH as we were leaving! Got chinese and finished the other 5 hampers. Choc slabs never turned out in the end so £17 later we filled the tins with lots of Thorntons chocs! Then mum phoned to say sister had run out of oil and no money to top up so we agreed to go to the garage and go halfs on a drum for her! Finally got in after midnight and hid the treasure hunt for this morning, got to sleep for 2 hours before bf couldnt sleep, too excited and that never happens lol apparently its because of all the effort Ive went to this year :T and the build up has been just as fun :T I kept convincing we needed "another 5 minutes" but gave up at 6.40am (had a grand total of 4 and a half hours on and off sleep.) Had also an awful stomach ache this morning, so had to take tramadol its the only thing thats worked so far!

But my goodness have a been spoilt, concert tickets, tickets to see sarah millican, cds, perfumes, bath stuff, books, chocs, you name it! Feeling very lucky! Granny even gave us some money to hit the sales tomorrow with :beer:

Now sitting getting ready to have a bath with bf watches nativity, turkey in the oven and house smells gorgeous and of course a glass of bucks fizz in hand!
