  • Please tell me I was not the only one in tears at the snowman and the snowdog. I felt really silly as I was in tears when his dog died. My dog has huge ears and it just made me feel sad. I have had a glass or two of wine!
My husband thought it was really funny but held my hand and got me a tissue. Merry Christmas xx

I cried all the way through. I really enjoyed watching it though :)
  • Merry Christmas you wonderful lot!

No lazy day for me, it has been very stressful - still far from over and I haven't even watched our traditional Nightmare before Christmas or Home Alone :( Gutted.

    I'm having a bit of a cry.

Always do that Christmas Eve, cos my lovely Dad would always arrive at about seven O'C before the kids went to bed. He made us all laugh with his antics. And his total humanity.

He always said its not what you give them for Christmas, it's what you give them all year round.

He died quite young. And I still shed a few tears on this day for him. A lovely man.

But life goes on, and the kids remember him. So that's great!

    Happy Christmas one and all!
  • Just sat down at long last!
Went into town this morning for last last minute bits and even bought some wrap and gift bags for next year in the sale - get me!
Then I came back to the wrapping.....Every year I vow never to leave the stockings til Christmas Eve and every year I seem to do so. There I was for 6 hours wrapping. No wonder my back aches. Next yea I will wrap as I go along, you all have full permission yo nag me on the other thread whenever I buy a present!
So now all snug on the settee. 2 kids out, one drinking, one working (in a pub) The other 2 here and all ready to hang up their stockings. Kids are aged 16, 18, 20 and 22 !!
All that is left is for me to wish you all a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS:xmassign::xmastree::rudolf:

Feisty - you and me both. I have no idea why I've left so much till the last minute I've driven myself mad today. Lets make a pact to not end up like this next Christmas Eve :) I'm so cross with myself DH and I usually drive to Blackpool have a nice stroll, blows away the cobwebs then fu English breakfast today just no blooming time which is ridiculous!

Missing my boy, DDiL and VDGD although on the plus side Santa has already been in Australia. I know it's silly missing them so much when we a going in a couple of weeks but I can't help it:(

Thank you all you lovely people, for the love and support I've felt over the last few months - I would really not like to think where I'd have been without it. xxx

I'm looking forward to our new home and please feel free to kick my a** if I'm not totally done at least the day before Christmas Eve next year! Linky I'm counting on you to remind me and feisty!!!

Much love and Christmas bugs to you all. You really are very special people xxx

  • Evening all!

    Happy Christmas eve!

So today didn't start off the best I was sick :( and had a horrific headache, still managed to achieve alot today though but rather than laying in bed watching a film I feel I may be hopping in a nice bath and heading straight for bed might right a little bit of Pride and Prejudice :)

Have swept and mopped all the floors today, have iced the yule log, was meant to wrap a couple of extra pressies but I don't want to now I'm so sleepy, will give some to mum as birthday pressies and pop the other 2 in a little Lush bag for her.

Am feeling really wiped out, feel like a tired out 4 year old on Christmas eve :o

Merry Christmas all will see you in the new thread on boxing day afternoon after work, Hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow and that no one stresses out, after all what is the point of being organised if we still stress out on the day.
Anyway enjoy, drink, be merry and eat too much and love your family!

Hugs to everyone! Especially you OMO:A

Also my birthday is April 4th
  • In case I don't pop on tomorrow, happy birthday chrissyg
