    Merry Christmas Everyone!

I feel very spoiled and very loved. DD is beside-herself delighted with her new kitchen and DH is loving his banjo (although has already snapped a string).

    Wishing you a wonderful day.

    HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Wishing you all a happy and peaceful day.

We had our big sit down meal on Sunday, so for the first time since I left home, I get to chill out on Christmas morning.
I cooked Christmas morning (cranberry) muffins for breakfast and we are having a buffet later on with party food, a ham I cooked yesterday and Sunday's leftovers.

I'm posting now because I'm not sure how long I will last today as:
    1) DS3 has been awake since 03.14 and we only went to bed at 00.30!
    2) I'm on my 2nd glass of posh fizz already (pressie from DH's work)

Off to help assemble an attack helicopter now then I'd better start sorting food out while I'm still capable! xxx

Merry Christmas everyone! And happy birthday to ChrissyG, too!

Hope you're all enjoying your day. We got woken up by the kitten scratching at her wall next door at 7am. She's been good the past 2 mornings, but maybe she just wanted to see if Father Catmas has been. Opened our stockings in bed and played with Blossom for a while, then made breakfast. Pancetta in a ciabatta roll with tomato chutney. Washed down with Christmas blend coffee.
Then we opened our tree gifts. My hubby had done me a 'naughty' pile and a 'nice' pile! Even wrapped in different papers, according too which pile they belonged to. Tried out his new DAB radio by listening to Smooth Christmas for a few hours.
Not long finished lunch. We made a Christmas pie. Very lovely it was too. Just enjoying some wine and relaxing before my cousin & her boyfriend come round later on. Bought DH the Logo game, so will hopefully play that later too.
Enjoy the rest of the Christmas break, whatever you're up to.

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A
  • Right popped back, my eye has cleared up only for the other to be watering for the past hour. Really bugging me because we've had nothing here to set it off (allergies etc).
Think I'm going to make the most of Doctor Who later and have a little nap. I keep eyeing up the tree, I so want to pack it away. I usually wait until Boxing Day but. Have been known to take it down at the end of Christmas Day before now!
    Shall pop back again later.

  • Merry Christmas everyone :)

Have had a lovely day so far, but sadly it doesn't feel like Christmas.

For the first time ever I managed to refrain from pigging out, no nap yet - I'm sure it's not far off ;)

    Xmas Saver!
That's it, I am staying on here.

I posted on another thread about the abusive phone call I got today from my Mother (Didn't want to bring this tread down on the Big Day :D ) and someone posted telling me and the other posters 'to grow up, and stop being kids in a playground telling tales.'

There are some nasty people out there on this site, and I don't like it.
Mind you I got my own back.:D:D:D
