  • Congrats chirpy on Franklin! What a great weight! Mine were prem at 2lb 7oz and 4lb 15oz so dang compare!

Well, all wrapped today, thankfully although I too have bought too much for thd girls. Oh well, no one else but my mum buys for them!

Dd1 has been poorly this week, managed to struggle in for her nativity, bless her. Has been rowing with dd2 today though so a bit better.

Have finally made the cards for teachers so kids can take them in tomorrow.

Am trying to get thru washing as on Friday we set off for yhe 200 mile drive to mums with girls. Dh joins us on Sunday until Xmas day as he works in theatre and someone has to put the panto on! Lol x
  • I too have suddenly descended into panik mode, although i am unsure as to why? All presents are brought, wrapped & labelled ready to be delivered to various relatives & friends this weekend, & kids & oh's are safely hidden ready for santa to put under the tree. Cards are written, and most have been posted/handed out. Table decorations & crackers are finished, and the turkey is in the freezer. Yet i still feel like i have so much to do, the various parties & visits, the baking & the massive christmas eve eve houseclean i have! Dh says im driving him crazy now as im also going through my "have the kids got enough, what if people dont like their gifts" stage! ARGH... i have planned all year for this, and now it is finally upon us i have gone into complete melt down. Im sure once i finish work friday, and am able to start enjoying the festivities, i will calm down & the jobs will not take long at all...but friday still seems so very far away, and i know it will just fly by after that!
    sorry, rant over x

I am also in panic mode for no reason what so ever! I keep worrying that the kids haven't got enough presents - even though they have more than any other year. Plus we couldn't take the kids to see Father Christmas last weekend because it was raining and it's outside, it is now raining all day every day so I am on the hunt for a good indoor Father Christmas or my youngest will never forgive me! I am being VERY MSE :money:

I have looked at everything I have got everyone, and decided there is a lot of stuff here. So I have taken out some none perishable gifts and am putting them away for birthdays/next Christmas.

I have done this because I don't know what money I will have next year, and if I give them loads this year, next year may look miserly.
It also gives me a head start, and reduces this years wrapping:D .
  • Feel like I should be panicing but cba at the moment, I am sure it will kick in by weekend. A few small things to be bought, most presents wrapped and cards done. Out tomorrow night as finish work tomorrow and going to friends for a drink so probably wont be feeling too well on Fri:eek:.
Did have a senior moment earlier when MIL came and I gave her the presents I had got for her to give the kids and couldn't find the Wii game I had got for DD2, found it when she had gone , doh!

Mine I feel will be take us as you find us most of the yr kind of day and I will love it. lol.;)

Hi Snugglebunny let's hope Friday bring the start of your festive fun. I've missed you. X
Msgigglewick that link is oh so true in my house too. Please enlighten me to what Martin is doing at the top of the page? I'm on the iPad and missing out!!! Even worse I don't know what I'm missing out on!
Linky I'm not sure whether to congratulate you or not on saving presents for next year - is there any length you won't go to avoid wrapping? :)

Woo hoo it's DGDs second birthday today and officially the start of our Christmas :) In a couple of hours I will be joining those in panic mode. Although weirdly I enjoy that too :) xxx

Our posts must have crossed mumofthreeplusoh. I too am with you on that "take us as you find us" sounds just perfect to me too xxx

    NO! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Wish DGD a very happy birthday. It is a very important day today.

It is the last day for 89 years that the day/month matches the year. 20/12/2012. Next on is 21/01/2101.

My Grandfather use to tell me I had a mind full of useless information.:rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks Linky will do. I'm that excited to see her face in the morning that I probably won't sleep a wink :) night night xxx

How about using your "useless information" skills and compile our Let it Snow birthday list. I've missed a couple this week :(

  • Good morning all elves!

Sorry for what may seem an obvious question to those in the know - but where do you see / post birthdays? I don't know where to look :(

Thanks in advance, have a merry day everyone x
