I really want to make my auntie a my time hamper for Xmas as she has 3 boys between the age of 4-6 and is currently in uni studying nursing so doesn't get a lot of time to herself!! the only proble is I have no idea what to put into it up to now I have thought of
- bubble bath
- candles
- a book
- a small bottle of wine
- chocolate
What else could I possibly put into it without it costing the earth my budget is 20-25 any ideas would be great!!0 -

My mum must have been buying/making bits of furniture for ages to fill it. Kids don't mind 2nd hand when they are younger.
Freecycle is brilliant. My DD got a hotpoint fridge and freezer for her house when she left home, they needed a clean but are excellent :T
This weekend I am going to try and make a comprehensive list of items to make/buy and really try to stick to a budget. Only 4 more pay days before Dec
I want everything bought and wrapped by Dec 1st so I can enjoy all the brilliant xmas tv. I too circle the TV listings, so does my mum!
Night night, Pix
Oh grief! I hadn't thought about it in terms of paydays
At least I get paid a little early in December, so I get 5, but it's a very long wait until the January one after that!
Even though I've simply been looking for any bargains and making them fit a recipient (to some extent at least), I think that I might start setting targets of so many completed presents per pay day, but aim to have all paid for and wrapped by the end of November.
Going back above to the Bridgemere take-over -I hadn't realised that they had been, but as they'd spent so much money on revamp work, I suppose that it must have come from somewhere, and Stapeley Water Gardens gone, so fewer places in the area to hunt for bits.0 -

A dvd and popcorn, little bottle of wine, a book, a magazine subscription you can get some 5 for £5, face mask, little diary with a nice pen, special cup13 in 2013 challenge 9/130 -
just an idea about the nurse watch - it's the first thing people want to buy as a special graduation present. So if you do think of getting one, it might be best to speak to other family members first in case they already have that in mind0

Seeing as I've commented now I think I should try and join in more. I have a tiny pressie draw of random bits which won't really do my list lol At the moment I have pretty much everyone to buy for and very few ideas! I'd love to do some of the hampers but i can't think of anyone appreciating it. There is:
Christmas
OH
Brother- Designer orientated!
Mum- Jewellery box
Dad-
OH Mum-
OH Dad-
OH Brothers Girlfriend- Travel wallet as she likes going places but not sure it's enough
Grandma-
God daughter- Wooden farm
God son- Rocket
God children's parents- So far got a picnic hamper backpack but want something more which is hard when the one can be particularly unappreciative!
Birthdays
God son- Clothes?!
God daughter-
God daughter's mum- Been told a clothes voucher but want to make it interesting.
God daughter's dad-

Your OH has a girlfriend? Intriguing.
*edited to add* Ah, after the edit makes much more sense!
I am so jealous of kids. I want fun presents like rockets and wooden farms! Although come to think of it, I do buy myself Lego most Christmasses. *insert embarrassed smiley*:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -

OH Brothers Girlfriend- Travel wallet as she likes going places but not sure it's enough You often see travel size toiletries on offer - 342 at the moment in Boots. Or if she's not the driver when travelling, one of those clip on book lights - loved mine when I did a lot of coach travelling. Or as suggested on another thread, i think, currency to go into wallet - a few euros?
God children's parents- So far got a picnic hamper backpack but want something more which is hard when the one can be particularly unappreciative! It's a lovely present, most people would be thrilled to get one. And, it's the sort of thing that it doesn't matter if you already have one as everyone takes more & more on picnics nowadays anywayCould you put in a few tinned goodies that will keep or just a bottle of wine?
