Lol, I forgot the reason I came on. I reached £10 on valuedopinions :j Never done surveys before and only joined them last week of June so very happy. Going to let the vouchers save and either get Sainsburys vouchers just before Xmas to help with Xmas food shop or Boots vouchers for 75% off sale in Jan.

Anyone know once you order them how long they take to arrive?

Well done! I think the max i've ever had to wait is 2 weeks. Amazon vouchers are sent via email instantly x

  • Just ordered some free tea samples that will be perfect for my teacup 'hampers'! :T

Also received The Polar Express through the post, really happy as it is completely new and undamaged and still in the cellophane wrapper, not bad for £2.85! :j
  • Boots have updated their toy sale so grabbed some fab bits there with staff discount, Argos also lowered more prices on their clearance so have a reservation to pick up later with some super cheap gift sets and toys and a couple of orders to pick up from wilkinsons from their 50% off toy sale as well.
Hubby keeps getting annoyed at all the stuff arriving and dosnt seem to understand that as I'm back at work off maternity from sept I won't have as much time to hunt out bargains and we have his huge family and our 5 kiddies to buy for! I wonder where he thinks everything appears from on xmas day maybe he still believes in Santa.....

Last night I ordered the gift card cd rom from the book people along with a cookbook - these are presents for me from hubby LOL!!
I am excited about the card cd rom and hoping it will save loads of money in the long run and also you can make stuff like door hangers and book marks etc

I have a basket full of Christmas presents on Amazon and hubby got a £10 voucher from shop and scan and I am awaiting my love film £15 voucher, now I am doing everything i can survey wise to earn another £10 so I can buy it all :D then I will be practically finished except for a few chocolates and christmas bits that aren't yet in the shops.

Also I do a Christmas eve hamper too but last year was the first year and it didn't really work as well as i had hoped so im doing it different this year, keeping it more simple.

    Christmas Eve Hamper:
    Value Lager for Hubby
    Diet Coke for Me
(I did hot chocolate last year and it is still in the cupboard so thought best to do a more treaty drink as hubby only drinks Christmas & Birthdays & I love diet coke but don't buy it due to cost.)
Gingerbread Men x 2 (We really like the M&S ones hoping to get these again this year)
    Arthur Christmas DVD
Christmas Story Book to read to bubs lol even if he is only going to be 3 weeks old ;)
Christmas Candle (Hoping to "invest" in a christmas eve yankee candle somehow)
Popcorn (salt for hubby, toffee for me)
    Cadbury heroes
Then for the baby in our Hamper we have already brought from carboots, Christmas sleepsuits and bibs

If I can get a Christmas Lush bar then I will.
Everything is always better after a cup of tea

I sent an email to kringle candle asking if they could do a collection of all their Christmas scents so i can decide which i would like to order a bigger version of. They are going to add one to their website next week. They probably thin k im mad

  • I meant to mention that I popped into my local Tesco last night and they had mugs saying 'I Love Grandad' or 'I Love Daddy' for 25p. I thought i'd mention it in case you have kids that want to give something to Grandad or Daddy! I don't know if they're in all stores as it's obviously leftovers from Fathers Day but might be worth a look out. x

Oh & Twas the night before christmas is FREE for kindle at the moment

Also the free postcards on the freebie forum are great for messages from the Christmas Elves :D to all the little cherubs that need reminding of their behaviour.

Thanks Dark Star - I've just downloaded the free Kindle for PC app and also the book, along with a few others, all for free. The only problem is that my son has now decided that he wants to get his girlfriend a kindle for her birthday, and you can guess who'll be paying for it!! :rotfl:
