    I like your tree.

Yesterday I went to see Scrooge at the London Palladium, staring Tommy Steele. It was fab, and Tommy Steele is amazing for 75.

I love A Christmas Carol, it's my favourite festive story.

I did not know that children with ASD have a chance of becoming epileptic. My DD will be 7 on NYE and was diagnosed 3 years ago

It was something the Psychiatrist said in passing, when ds was diagnosed. I never really thought to ask about it, there was to many other things to think about.
We were meant to be there for 3 hours, but it was stopped after 45 minutes, ds was sent out the room and I was told it was so profound, there was no need to carry on any longer.( Ds was 16).
They could not believe my concerns had been ignored by doctors for so long. ( One being from their clinic).

It was one of the many things I remembered them saying to me after I got home.

Loving all the xmas trees.. Not done mine because I'm hoping to get my laminate floor done so don't want the extra work. Have stared putting wall things up.

Took dd's to an Xmas party and the excitement to see Santa on dd2 face was lovely. I then did Santa pnp tonight and her face brought tears to my eyes.

  • Hi all, will catch up in a little while, but I need to ask some advice.
My dd has recently started to show an interest in hairdressing! (she's 5). Her big sister has this year decided she wants to buy each of us a gift from her pocket money, she's been saving since October! Ive told her we would be happy with chocs or similar, but she is determined she wants to buy her sis one of those styling dolls heads. Ive searched amazon but their very expensive, or the cheap ones have really bad reviews. Can anyone recommend one? DD has £10 to spend on it, but i would be happy to put another £5 to if we can get one.
    Thanks in advance

not sure if its been mentioned as havent got to the end, but last year my DD eceived one for christmas and I think it was from Asda..i'm pretty sure it was one of their own brand toys, i cant see it one the website, but they might have one in your local store..dont ecpect they would be that expensive

I still haven't seen Nativity. Is it worth getting on DVD?

Yes it's cheesy but really funny and a bit of a tear-jerker for the adults (in a good way!). There were nowhere near so many laugh out loud moments in the second one.

I tidied up especially before taking my pics ;) I have a friend requesting a photo in the dark with the fibre optics on - I will try.

Well have done my first bit of shopping and after an hour I'm frustrated already :( We decided that we would stick to a budget of £10 a person this year. Partly due to saving for our deposit, and partly because I get so upset each year with all the thought and effort that goes into selecting pressies and people just don't seem fussed :(

Anyway, the usual headaches about finding the perfect gift are occurring :( I am after a photo-shoot or spa entrance for £10, plenty about - just none in Bournemouth :(

OMO you really are an inspiration!

have you tried groupon or kgb for spa deals? also living social do deals, though i haven't bought any from them.
