I've not won anything although sorta gave up entering towards the end of the month.
I have tried the NSpa oil but it gave me funny little pimples under my skin - i never really get spots and usually use oil on my dry skin so was really surprised.
Feels really nice on the skin though - its quite a dry oil and soaks in well.
Might finish my bottle up on my body.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
At last managed to note down my use ups and ta's
54. Lush Green shampoo bar, WNBA, not sure if they stillmake it, thought might be good forcamping, but it got all sticky in it’s tin.
55.Blistex tinted lip salve. Old, found it in a coat pocket,WNBA, others I like better.
56. Philip Kinglsey Scalp Tonic. OK but probably WNBA, theItchy Flaky Scalp shampoo does the job well enough on its own.
57. BS Rice Bran Scrub, loved this, very fine, suited mysensitive skin, but I don’t think they have made it for years, this was thelast of my stockpile.
58. TA Lush Ultra bland, only about ¼ pot left, too heavyfor my skin now.
59. Lush Snowcake Soap, I was surprised how much I liked it(it had been abandoned by a tenant in a flat owned by late FIL, together with a RussianHamster and an amazing amount of rubbish), the soap and the hammy came to livewith me:D and the rubbish went to the tip!
If I don't fall asleep, I will note the IN's later too.:oThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
So fake tan update day two.
Applied the unopened St Tropez last night and again in for a shower this morning. I do have a bit more colour today but not what it should/used to be. Think it is just too old as well but I will keep using this one. I will be trying the St Moritez? Sp? As I have a few friend recommendations on this one. I think I seen it in HB last time I was there. Next time I am in I'm gonna price it.
I have also dug out the Sally Hanson instant spray to top up the colour on my legs. I started using this last year and I am very impressed with it.

Hi all,
I had a £5 no7 voucher so I bought their microdermabrasion scrub to try and get rid of some of the blackheads on my nose and chin. I will use twice a week.
I was just wondering if anyone goes for a facial regularly? I'm thinking of trying it to see if my skin improves any...should I bother? Are they worth it?

I use a pore strip for blackheads, I find these work very, very well, so much so that I use them very infrequently.
A UU and a freebie IN
The UU was a Simply Colour hair colour in medium brown.
If you are thinking it's one you've not heard of, it's probably because it was the princely sum of £1 in Wilkinson's.
Having had bad results with expensive colours, I tried some reverse theory.
WIBA? Yes, definitely. This was better than the pound shop colourants - a 30 minute development time, no strong ammonia smell, generous quantity and plastic tube that was easy to empty into the bottle. The pound shop colours are fine, but this cost the same and was nicer to use. Colour result was good too and although a conditioner wasn't included, my hair felt fine after using my usual Elvive.
The IN was with a £2.90 copy of Easy Living magazine. I'd hoped my subscription would start this month but no, so I succumbed. It's a 50 ml Rituals Mei Dao Organic White Lotus and Yi Yi Ren body cream. It smells heavenly. Current lotion is spluttering and only 1 in stash plus a body butter, so not too guilty either.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Several UU's to list later, got to go and sort stuff for 10 day holiday starting Sunday, atm I'm doing food and OH is cleaning the motorhome, then only clothes, make up, nail stuff, toiletries and the dog's stuff to do!
Have a lovely holiday maddiemay. Looks like the weather is going to be very kind to you. xkiplingmonkey wrote: »I have found that the top has popped off on mine too which is a real pain - have now cut it in half and am down to the last splutterings so hope to see it off before the end of May. I don't hate this with the passion that some of you do but won't be graduating it to a HG product any time soon...Think I still have 2 left in my stash.:o
Well done on graduating with cleansers...:T
I find nail envy makes my nails split so don't tend to use it - I know some people really rate it but it just doesn't do it for me. Haven't experienced the peeling polish but it wrecks my nails.
Have another UU to report:
Gatineau melatogenine futur plus moisturiser - 15ml size. WBA but seriously have no need to purchase a moisturiser for some time to come - this will probably be discontinued by the time I graduate from moisturisers. The thing that I like about it is that you can use it morning and evening so I find it is good for holidays when I want to pack ligh. Also like the texture which is not too greasy.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Hi Kiplingmonkey - I didn't even bother to cut open the last tube of the melting gel! - so frivolous!
I use Nail Envy as a base coat I think though when this bottle has been used up I'll try a proper base coat because I can't be sure whether this is keeping my nails in good condition or just the Leighton Denny crystal file I use.
There's been a bit of a hoo hah on st.com about Gatineau moisturiser as they have been selling it at a reduced price for ages and now it appears a new improved one is being released. Seems some folks have stock piled on the old one too much. Perhaps they should join this thread? xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Me too. I am going to be a concerted effort to spend absolutely nothing on toiletries in June. You all heard me! xkiplingmonkey wrote: »Oh forgot I had an IN - I won the following in the Glamour giveaway (thanks to the person who posted the details on the thread), so 1 IN for me:

Congrats. I think the last time that I won anything was when Emma was a baby (13 years ago!!). There was a mag I used to buy called "Our Baby" and I used to enter all the comps (this was back in the day when you had to send a postcard off). The postage paid off because I swear I won everyone of them. Prizes ranged from books to free kids shoes and I won a camera once as well. Sadly the mag went out of publication. Maybe I was the only one buying it!
One more UU but only a sachet of Champneys bath milk. This was lovely and soothing to use. Very lightly fragranced. Would buy again if I remember by the time I've got through the stash.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
