I don't know what would happen if I lived near a Poundland or T K Maxx!

We have both in Eastleigh and i can't go through town without a glance in either.

If the OS shampoo is a HG for you then I think it's worth buying. If you have other shampoo that you like/works well you could always buy a little bottle of peppermint essential oil and add some for a similar effect (you could also put it on a tissue when you have a migraine). You have to be a bit cautious with peppermint oil as it's very strong but I love it (and it's a cheap essential oil).

I did buy Peppermint Oil but was unsure how much to put in or whether i should put it in and make a whole bottle of minty shampoo or do a drop in my palm each time??
I think the OS shampoo works well as it clarifys my hair too at the same time.
I think i may buy a couple of botttles - i only use it once a week or so so should last. And i've spent a fair amount trying to find anouther product that works as weel

That is very helpful of him!

I'm glad to hear that lots of other people have had their Benetints and High Beams open for ages as well :rotfl:

Fiasco - almost 400 UUs??! That's amazing  How long have you been doing the challenge? Have you got much more to UU?

Willowbee - he's not getting a lot of choice as I buy all the toiletries, but its a fantastic way to get rid of the stuff I don't want.

I've used nail envy in the past, and found that it peeled off by the next day, leaving my nails dry and brittle. Not for me, but I know it is a lot of people's HG.

I let my nails go au naturale, and just put oil on them every night x

i'm no expert, but I do love nail polish. Perhaps wiping your nail bed with nail polish remover prior to putting on your base coat will help. Sometimes if your nail bed is oily your polish will peel off.

  • Ok ladies, so I'm so frustrated. I give up!

No UU's yet, spluttering products but they are all such LHJ.
On top of that, I've been losing a battle with my wallet. I keep buying things. Things that are helping me cope with my stressful life right now, but still totally going against this challenge. I am failing so miserably.

I even went to get my hair cut and what does my stylist do? She gives me about 20 Aveda shampoo/conditioner samples. Sure I shouldn't be complaining as that's so awesome of her, but now I have more IN's.

On top of that, I seem to be spinning out of control with nail polish purchases. Yikes!

Someone please give me some words of wisdom to help me control my spending.
    eckkkk!!!!

A TA today as I dug an old mousse (partially used) from my drawer and found the nozzle doesn't work any more.

TA: Samy Fat Hair amplifying mousse. WNBA, made my hair very sticky. I wasn't impressed with any of the range that I've tried.

If you start a June thread I shall join, as May is nearly over and I have only just discovered this thread. My cupboards are full of Clarins half sizes and large sample sizes, as well as lots of Aveda stuff. I keep meaning to use them up then see another promotion and can't resist.

Up to now at least I was getting free facials, paying £25 redeemable on products, in John Lewis, but now they have changed the system and to get the free facial you got to buy 4 products first. So, time to use up the stash.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
