    More UU's :j

No7 Balanced Skin Wipes WMBA - I didn't love them but Boots paid me to take them away so worth it!! I only use them to take my makeup off before using a 'proper' cleanser so they were fine for that!

S&G Breakfast Scrub WBA - I love this scrub, have a few stashed from XMAS so no need to buy again for a while! :D

I gave into the liz Earle £9.50 offer and it's just arrived. It's a pretty big saving and my exfoliator and eye bright haven't got long left in them so I got those too while I was paying postage.

    INs
    Cleanse and polish
    Eye bright
    Exfoliator

They also sent me a free mini superbalm as my try me and a free full size orange flower hand wash to thank me for my custom. :j

    Hi all,

I had a £5 no7 voucher so I bought their microdermabrasion scrub to try and get rid of some of the blackheads on my nose and chin. I will use twice a week.

I was just wondering if anyone goes for a facial regularly? I'm thinking of trying it to see if my skin improves any...should I bother? Are they worth it?

The Clarasonic is the only thing that seems to have made a different to the blackheads on my nose. They are not all gone, but there is a big reduction. It's also helped my dry skin. It's obviously an expensive product though, but I used Tesco vouchers to pay for mine.

Fantastic :) I love it when they send free stuff! They sent me a try me eye kit last time I ordered. Great company, they know how to keep their customers!! Xx

    Hi Weesmiler!

I was just thinking about you :rotfl:

What is your skin normally like? I think that mine has got a bit olier in the heat and I've ended up with two spots on my chin (quite unusual for me). I'm going to use a clay mask today as that will pull out any impurities. Do you have a clay mask? It doesn't have to be a fancy one.

Also, I'm putting arnica gel onto the spots as I've found this the gentlest/most effective way to get rid of them.

Do you normally change to a lighter moisturiser in the summer?

The other reason I think my skin has got grumpy is that I've tried to use up to many odds and ends products on it! I think I'm going to have a week when I stick to tried and tested favourites and see if that restores it.

    Lots of questions! :rotfl:

Hermia - what a brilliant idea to buy a Clarisonic with Tesco vouchers :T
Did your skin go through a purging stage when you first used it?

Evilsquid - what a lovely surprise from LE  I wondered if they would put something extra in the parcels...

Maddiemay - I hope that you have a lovely holiday! VALM is right that you've lucked out with the weather. I hope it last for you :)

KiplingMonkey - congrats on your win! :j I kept entering the comp but I wasn't so lucky. I would be interested to hear how you find the NSpa as it was one of the things I was most curious about :)

you always get a travel size product off them if you order off the website, think its a kind of consolation prize for having to pay postage :rotfl:

this is the second random freebie I've had off them, i had a 50ml C&P last year. i don't know wether its something like every so many orders they do it or when you hit a certain spend with them. still nice surprise though!

Zoe - when I've added essential oil to things I've done it in batches (as I go along) so that it keeps the scent. I've just added rose geranium to a body lotion I don't like. To do this I decanted about 40ml into a travel pot, added about 4-5 drops of oil, gave it a good stir and then used it. With your shampoo I'd put some shampoo into a smaller bottle and then add just a couple of drops of peppermint, give it a good shake and then see if it's minty enough for you. I wouldn't put the oil directly onto your hand as in theory it can burn your skin  (I used to like adding about 5 drops of peppermint oil to a bath. It smelt lovely and it had a really odd cooling sensation even though I was sitting in a hot bath (it's impossible to describe!))

It's such a shame that OS have discontinued your fave product :( I hope that adding peppermint has a similar effect. Just be cautious and only use a couple of drops at first as it's strong stuff :)

Oooh Valm, we know you and love you, but that would be something to do cold turkey for a month... I hope you do it.

I just emailed Amazon to find out what happened to my free eye-cream, I have to review it and it's also quite an expensive product at £1.50 / ml so I hope I get some answers.

In the meantime I re-discovered an Aldi Lacura caffeine eye roller, so have been using that to give the Olay gel a break. The cool caffeine - based liquid is also more refreshing, so many of the Lacura products are so good that I want to give this a proper go.
