Hi everyone, I posted a thread and scrappie advised me to post my question in here :)...

I have really combination skin (mid 20s), (prone to breakouts on my chin from time to time but no major acne) and have tried loads of different skincare over the years.

Used Liz Earle for ages but it started clogging my pores as they changed the formula. For the last few months I have been using philosophy purity cleanser but I think it is maybe a bit too harsh for my skin as I am now getting flaky patches around my nose.

I have been reading up on Elemis (and watching QVC which is always dangerous) and am considering getting the Lime Blossom balancing cleanser and Lavender toner, anyone used Elemis products and can recommend (or not?). They have a pretty good freebies offer going on at the minute which ends today so am very tempted!

    Thanks x

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
UU Clinique moisture surge WMBA used it as a night cream, did make my skin feel plumped in the morning.

UU Kirkland shampoo 1 litre WBA this is Costco's brand and it's SLS and paraben free, really nice and doesn't upset my scalp and made my hair soft.

I really like the Costo shampoo too. I spent years using more expensive brands and wish I had discovered this earlier. It is now my HG.

Hi Toothfairy - I use these products and top up from QVC too. I have oily skin and mainly gets spots on my chin and jaw line. I really rate these and find them kind to my skin. Never had any flaky patches with it. Also i would recommend their skin buff too. HTH

    Fake tan update day five

I have now binned the last bottle of st Tropez as I put it on last night and it hasn't made a bit of difference. Went to HB today and bought the st Moritez for £2.99. Will see how I get on tonight.

Now this shampoo sounds Intriguing. Don't need any for a bit but I must admit I have never looked at their shampoo before.

    a UU:

Yves Rocher shower gel- lovely scent but not sure its worth tracking down as I think its only available online. Have another 2 in stash although I went through it very quickly.

and a few ins from a friend who was clearing out her stash and thought I might like these:

natural collection passion fruit body cream
natural collection passion fruit body spray
    Lush you've been mangoed
    Lush karma bubble bar
    Lush jingle spells

all very nice but still adding to the stash! Room smells lovely though, think its the you've been mangoed.

A couple of uu to report.

Nivea cashmere soft shower gel, this was used by the kids and it was very mild and had a nice fragrance so wba. Have opened a Nivea Happy Time for them now which has an orange blossom fragrance and smells lovely.

Bamford Geranium body wash - wnba, didn't rate this very highly particularly when you take into consideration the price. Lots of other cheaper products which I prefer.

Toothfairy - I would recommend products for sensitive skin as skin which breaks out is sensitive to something. Haven't used Elemis so cannot comment but I do like La Roche Posay.
