Just dropping by to report a UU at the start of the week:

L'Occitane orange leaves bath soap - this was ok but not a patch on my HG soaps - Bonne Mere and Shea butter from L'Occitane. As with all L'Occitane soaps this didn't disintegrate into a mush in the soap dish but I didn't find it as conditioning as my HG soaps.

Am hoping that things will pick up this week as this is only my 3rd UU of the month which is bad :(.

What do you think of the l'occotaine brightening handcream? I can't decide wether I like it or not :D

I was naughty and opened this to try - like you, the jury is out. I am not sure of the smell - it seems quite strong. Think I prefer the shea butter handcream from L'Occitane which is my all time HG hand cream.

UU Priorie Coffee Berry brightening serum sample, got two apps out of it and knowing how expensive it is i didn't find it that impressive.

I also loved the hero shade nail polish from LIB, and it lasted really well.

I think it's the smell that's putting me off as well! :o I'm torn between L'occitane Shea butter and L'occitane Vanilla flower as my HG handcream :D

Although its early days I think that Sanctuary Body Souffle is a contender for the HG Body Cream  I love it :D

    Hi ladies.

    I have some more UUs:-

Garnier conditioner - the teeny bottle that comes with Nutrisse hair colorant.

50ml Boots Extracts Fairtrade Almond body butter WBA as I love the texture and actually like having the little pots so that I don't get bored. Will get another out of the stash in a few mins.

Have another one but can't for the life of me remember it now. Gonna have a shower now so maybe it will come to me.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Hi Ladies,

No UU for a few days but have a couple of splutterers so hopefully won't be too long and I can't really complain as had a pretty good May so far. An IN on its way so may as well declare it now as it should definitely be a May one! Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel, has good reviews and fancied a change from St Tropez - off to Chester races on Saturday so will need to be suitable bronzed! Couldn't resist the 1000 AP offer for two Clarins products so also ordered a lip gloss which is hopefully a similar shade to my usual EL one which is spluttering. Unfortunately our Boots store isn't big enough to stock Clarins so didn't get the other freebies that have been mentioned, nor a No. 7 voucher which I think I've seen may be back also.

Ordered myself NAKED 2 off Debs whilst there was 10% off Beauty as I think its probably a fairly rare occurrence to get it less than full price, have since seen there was probably a code for a further 5% off but oh well. Was going to ask OH for this for my birthday but didn't trust him to get it right! :rotfl: Will hopefully arrive tomorrow :T

While I was on their website I also ordered my sister a lovely cream Radley clutch half price in the sale as her birthday is the day after mine (much to my annoyance as a child :o). Its absolutely gorgeous but arrived today with what look like two little puncture marks almost like a staple has been removed - I know I am being a bit fussy but its for a present and even at half price hardly cheap, I was so disappointed and panicked when I saw it had gone off the website as if sold out. Phoned Customer Services expecting to be endlessly left on hold and told to hunt it down in store (what high expectations of customer service we have in this country!) and was soo pleased/amazed/relieved when they said they'd send a replacement straightaway. The customer service lady was lovely and very apologetic - v v impressed :D

Re L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening hand cream - agree I found it very strongly scented on my trial application (I really shouldn't have opened it yet...) but I think it kind of grew on me, I liked the texture and that it wasn't at all greasy (was easily impressed as have recent experience of the dreaded Hand Food :rotfl::rotfl:)

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine at last, I have everything crossed for it to hold out at least until the weekend!

    Hi Ladies!

I have been MIA for a couple of weeks - but in that ime only 'gave in' to the Emma Hardie TSV. So not too bad ..........

Will catch up on the thread in the next few days - although by the time I do that, no doubt the June thread will be up and running!!

Totally off topic - I know that a few of you ladies like Kipling bags. I just ordered this as a pressie for a friend, good price, found it on Grab - it.

Don't know why it wont post that link as a 'link' - but it's the correct address!

That is a really nice bag, I have Amazon vouchers to spend and if I was still working in the community, I'd have nabbed it. Ideal for work. I love my Kipling handbag, best handbag I've ever owned and that's not just because it's a Kipling, it's a lovely size and such good leather. Still looks great after 1 year.

    Hiiii!
I've had no internet for ages and it was horrible! Couldn't keep proper track of anything as I use this as my motivation. I had planned on starting everything fresh as my payday was last friday, but with not having internet I couldn't shuffle money about my banks etc etc  hopefully I'm on track tho.

Well done to everyone that has had UUs, I really am not gonna trail through the pages and pages of posts sorry, so will just start from todays.

    Anyways rant over.

UU Aapri Apricot Scrub -WBA this is a HG product but for a change I thought I would buy something similar which was a pound less. So far so good!

Need to go in to town as my foundation really is annoying me. It's blocked up my pores something terrible. But wont be able to until the weekend at the earliest :(

    Two moisturisers used up:

    58. This Works No Wrinkles Extreme Moisturiser (3ml) - weird texture so WNBA

    59. Neal’s Yard Nourishing Orange Flower (25ml) - lovely but I prefer other things

I have a few promising splutterers but they just won't die! :o I thought I'd finished a lip balm but there's loads left in the end bit. *Sigh*

I got so curious about the L'Occitane Brightening Hand Cream that I just opened mine! I quite like the smell. It smells of rosemary and grass to me. Quite unexpected! It sinks in so nicely that I'm tempted to try it on my face as I find it tricky to find SPF creams that don't irritate my face or leave it all shiny. Would that be a bad idea?

    Morning Ladies.

Hope it is sunny for you all today, glorious here today and really warm already. Long may it continue.

Everywhere I turn there seems to be an offer on something, bonus gifts, vouchers, discounts, it is so hard to resist but I just don't need anything else.

Have opened my No7 BB cream today, I got this in medium by mistake, it goes on sludge brown but blended in to a fairly natural colour. I think the BB bubble will burst in this country as companies have just cashed in on the name and not really created anything new imo. I used it as my moisturiser and then just added a touch of EL doublewear where needed, skin feels comfortable but does look shiny so not sure whether it may be a bit greasy for me, time will tell I suppose.
