    UU:
Elemis ginseng toner - WBA but i do prefer the Liz Earle one.
Dr Hauschka rose day cream - WBA but only as a night cream, this is far too oil based and rich to be used on my skin during the day.
estee lauder eye cream - WNBA, no difference to any other cream or moisturiser I've used.
kiehls creme de corps - WNBA purely because keihls animal test.
asda nail polish remover pads - WBA, there are brilliant little things. get polish off quickly and don't fall apart at the first sight of glitter. cheap to boot!
Dior extase mini mascara - WNBA, i prefer the iconic version of this with its plastic wand.

    TA:
OPI nail polish remover - WBA. this wasn't strictly a TA but after the move i cant find it anywhere so I'm assuming its been TA at some point.

Have opened my No7 BB cream today, I got this in medium by mistake, it goes on sludge brown but blended in to a fairly natural colour. I think the BB bubble will burst in this country as companies have just cashed in on the name and not really created anything new imo. I used it as my moisturiser and then just added a touch of EL doublewear where needed, skin feels comfortable but does look shiny so not sure whether it may be a bit greasy for me, time will tell I suppose.

i have to admit, i don't "get" BB creams. they seem to give exactly the same coverage as a tinted moisturiser (tbh, it seems like they are just that - moisturiser mixed with a foundation/pigment of some sort). aside from the fact that you only need to use one product rather than the two and so are good for handbags or the gym, i would just never use it at home. I've already got moisturisers (and lots of it :rotfl:) that my skin likes and agrees with and a choice of foundations and a tinted moisturiser that give me a choice of coverage that cover whatever my skin looks like. my skin varies from brilliantly clear to spotty as hell so id still need to have the choice of coverage anyway even if i did buy one.
  • I wasn't that impressed with the BB cream sample I got either. As you say, just like my other primer or tinted moisturiser.

UU S&G Girlago - a body lotion in a spray. I thought this would be great if I went to the gym - but I don't. It was easy to use, but I much prefer a body butter or to slather on lots of body cream - couldn't really do that with this.

it was part of a set, along with hand food. I'm still enjoying it - smell and consistency haven't changed, but I only got it for Christmas.

Used my points to buy Nails Inc Save the Nail in an attempt to fix nail that has been splitting for the last few years. So far I've remembered to put a new coat on everyday. I can still see the line of weakness down the nail, right to the cuticle. Think I might have to keep putting this stuff on until my nail has totally grown off & is all brand new...could be a while!

In of shower gel for husband. I don't know how he goes through it so quickly! Got him radox as on offer at £1 so not too bad. Looking for one with a pump dispenser so he might not use as much...

    Morning Ladies.

Hope it is sunny for you all today, glorious here today and really warm already. Long may it continue.

Everywhere I turn there seems to be an offer on something, bonus gifts, vouchers, discounts, it is so hard to resist but I just don't need anything else.

I've been using the No.7 BB cream for Dry/very dry skin in fair for work (as really don't have time in the morning for proper foundation etc). I've found that I still need to put mosituriser on underneath or I end up with dry patches by midday. It is slightly shiney when I first put it on but its usually settled by the time I get to work. The coverage isn't brilliant, but its better than going out with just moisturiser on. When this is used up I think I'll just see if I can find a tinted moisturiser that suits my skin. Or try and get makeup route down to less than 2mins (not sure thats possible).

Ha I'd be delighted if mine took less than 20 minutes, and I still look like a corpse much of the time! :rotfl:

I have been MIA for a few days, but haven't fallen off the wagon too much. I did have to buy a new moisturiser, but that is an essential so I don't count it.

I am now going to dig out all my hand foods and sniff them - eek! The only product I've had problems with is the Body Shop body butters. I bought 3 in a 3 for £10 offer and opened them 6 months later to find they had all gone off and smelt disgusting. Actually, I've also had problems with Lush where things have started to smell/separate before the expiry date despite me storing them properly.

Hermia - I've had that problem with Lush products as well. Mine were stored in a cool dark cupboard and well within date. Charity pot seperated out and then went as thin as milk - they replaced that for me but not before asking if Id added water to it! (I got quite cross at that point which is most unlike me). One of the facial moisturisers did the same (I think it was Shangri La - I remember it being around £25 at the time). I got it replaced once (they said it was known to separate) but it happened again, so I gave up. I don't think I've bought anything since that experience...

Dolly84 - you are right about all the special offers! Stay strong :rotfl: (The Clarins offer is the one that I'm trying not to think about. I really don't need anything but there is lots that I would like! :rotfl:)

EvilSquid - that is AMAZING!!! ***Cheers*** ***Jumps***

Evilsquid - is that seriously everything you have?! Wow! I cannot get my head around having such a streamlined stash. I salute you!

Willowbee - I'm glad I'm not the only one. I rarely buy Lush products anymore because of this.
