Ooh , how rude of me! Hello FreshStart! Welcome to the wonderful world of using up your toiletries. Some of us are more disciplined than others, so enjoy reading and posting your UUs, and avoid temptation and the Grabit board! (But if you need help and pointing in the direction of a discount code for buying a present for a friend, there's nowhere better to hang out!) :rotfl:

Well, you were all right about the Hand Food - tested all mine and they have all gone off. So into the bin they go!

I've been saying this for a couple of years since I joind this board  it's like they turn watery, not very moisturising and the smell is truly awful.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Can it (Hand Food) be used as a body lotion instead? It would help you get through it faster :rotfl: Or is it too rich for that?

You could, but certainly not when its gone off. :( I've been using it on my feet.

Ugh! That sounds awful! :( Has anyone tried taking it back to Boots to complain? There must be a problem with the formula...

I am also using a sample of EL Idealist, gwp size and am finding that the few scars I have on my cheekbones seem to be fading, want to get a full size but it is very expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions for something cheaper to fade scars?
Nice to hear about the Idealist - I have a GWP size in the stash too.

I am currently using the MSM beauty cream from Raw Gaia as a night cream, which is making my skin feel lovely. Several of the reviews on their site say that it is good at helping fade scars.

Well I may have an unintentional out, my John Masters lip balm has gone missing if I don't find it by next weekend I will declare it as an out.

Going to try and make an early start to holiday packing today, have lots of sorting out to do, really need to get organised.

Looking forward to my Debenhams order to arrive, I've really gotten back into wearing makeup now (not just buying it). Think getting rid of those horrid foundations really helped.

No I haven't tried but I would agree there must be something wrong, I've other creams and lotions and butters that are older :o and they haven't gone off.
Trust me, once you smelt it it will put you off using it, no way could you smother your body or hands in it. I do my feet and then have to wash my hands to get rid of the smell :(

I had one that went off once and it smelt like chinese food.

Have sorted out some contact lens solution to go and am going to have a go at listing it on ebay. This has made room for the Ultrasun and L'Occitane goodies.

Have repainted my nails with $OPI How Cute is That? and whilst sorting out some nail lacquers to wear next week found yet another shower gel that I'd forgotten about - a Mandara Spa one.

Have two GAs as well. 2 x bottle of Philosophy shower gel for the other girl on my team at work : Gingerbread Girl and Snow Angel.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I feel like there should be a ceremonial binning of any remaining Hand Food so nobody feels like they have to UU something so horrible :o Down With Hand Food Day! :rotfl:
