    I added loads of lavender essential oil to a spray bottle with about 20ml white vinegar then topped up to 200ml with water. Gave it a shoogle around and then sprayed.

    Shoggle! What a wonderful word :rotfl: It's a great idea too (I have lots of essential oils hanging around waiting to be used :cool:).

    It's a shame about the bad reviews for Benefit's Porefessional. I know that other silicon fillers have made my pores feel like they need to clean themselves out! :eek: I was hoping this one would be different. Still, I'm pleased I have some to try and it saved me suddenly caving and spending £23.50 (!) to try it. (I don't think I would have paid that. I was tempted by a Christmas set in the sale that had it in but I didn't want the other products).

    I was really disappointed with Bad Gal mascara. It's a shame they're not giving away their new one (They're Real, I think...) I'd quite like to try Girl Meets Pearl :)

    Maddiemay - your moonfaced cleanser sounds like Baby Face? I really liked that and thought it was a shame Lush discontinued it :( I planned to try and make my own version of it but I haven't got around to it (too many cleansers to use up first! :rotfl:)

    Edited to add that I AM going to try and make it! Thank you for the reminder :-) I have almost everything I need (I'm subbing mango butter for avocado butter). I don't have everlasting flower absolute but I'll sub in some frankincense essential oil instead.

    (The ingredients that Lush used:

    Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera), Avocado Butter (Persea gratissima), Tangerine Oil (Citrus reticulata), Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Everlasting Flower Absolute (Helichrysum italicum), *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume, )

  • Kaz - all your housework is making me feel very lazy!

    I bought the Neutrogena fask mask/daily wash 2 in 1. Only had a couple of washes and one mask with it, but I have to say I like it and feel like my pores are a lot less clogged up. Fingers crossed to fewer blemishes! Still working at using up about 5 other face washes though...

    Afternoon all! Just popping back in to report 2 more UU;
    James Brown Rich Moisturising Shampoo
    James Brown Rich Moisturising Conditioner

    Might buy again but unconvinced - I love the smell although sometimes it's rather strong - but don't think it does anything particularly great for my hair and think it weighs it down quite quickly - looks fab for most part of a day, then goes quite limp... so I have others I'd prefer to buy.

    A little late but can I join again please (I was AWOL last month so need to keep on track)?

    I've been good whilst AWOL until today when I felt the urge to stock up on a few bits - all necessities though - honest guv ;)

    Whilst in Manchester today I also treated myself to an Origins starter kit from Mr B's which I though was good value @£24 and I paid with points.....at least I thought it was....until I got home and found the assistant had charged me twice :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I'm going away for a few days tomorrow and will be back in Manchester to catch the train. If I call in Mr B's first how likely do you think I would be to get the points back that were taken in error? I'm sooo mad as Mr B's is the other end of town so I'm going to have a long walk dragging my case with me but £24 (even in points is a lot to lose to me)

    Oh I'm so MAD!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Sorry - RANT over :o

    I'm IN for May! This month I will not buy any makeup, I have more than enough already! I don't think I'll need any toiletries either and I'm on track for a couple of Soap and Glory UUs. :eek: First UU today:

    Benefit Porefessional sample (7.5ml): WNBA as I don't think it didn't anything but I don't have oily skin or huge pores. This has lasted me 4 months+ of daily use! Is it this that's the Benefit freebie with Glamour next month?

    A Benefit freebie IN from Debenhams - free skincare sample when you show your Beauty Card - Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion 8.9ml. The little bottle is glass and very cute!

    Is that in all Debenhams stores how do you get it?

    I have resisted magazine freebies yet again I went to WHSmith to look at the freebie they had with Glamour and I didn't buy, don't think I'm cured of the magazine freebie buying, but I am definitely getting better.

    I have 6 GA today.

    No7 P & P Night cream 15ml mini x 3
    No7 P & P Day cream 15ml mini x 3

    Both of these just don't suit by skin type so I have bitten the bullet. They were GWP so I don't feel too bad about that.

    My afternoon tea was lovely. Really nice experience with great food in a fab setting. Mum loved it too - just as well as it was part of her prezzie.
