Watch you don't fall off your high horse it's a long way down.0

Cosmic post. Nothing of substance just a rather pointless comment.
I'm not on a high horse. As I said, I was always taught what was right and what was wrong.0 -
Well you are clearly an expert on posts of no substance, you appear to have some experience of your own.0

Another great one. Well done.0

And for all those people who seem to take the view "Well, Tesco is a big company", shame on you. Stealing from any person or organisation is wrong.
I don't think the size of Tesco has anything to do with it really.
The points, if you like, have already been paid for...
When I buy a DVD for £10, I'm not buying a DVD, I'm buying the DVD *and ten(or whatever) points* for that money.
So when womblers "steal" the points, they're stealing them from the new owners - ie the customers - not from Tesco.
Now...by throwing their points away, the "new owner" is effectively disowning the points - making them *nobodies*. And if something doesn't belong to anyone, can you really steal it?
I don't womble, and I have a strong sense of right and wrong, but I just don't think I can see it as stealing...0 -
Well, it fits within the definition of stealing as set out in the Theft Act 1968. And whether it is stealing from other customers or stealing from Tesco it is shameful.
I retain the view that it is stealing from Tesco - Tesco had no intent to give the points to someone who did not pay for the items.
I think it is reprehensible (and deeply sad!) behaviour.0 -
So when Tesco accept a coupon for a moc for a product that has not been bought, is that not theft on Tesco's part? It's just business, it is not theft, they all know the game.0

Seriously, if anyone has anything against this, you should take a look around you - theres a hell of a lot of bad **** going down around us everyday. If you want to complain about something, complain about something that matters...GET REAL!!
In the grand scheme of things do you really think its going to make a difference?? No..so just leave them to it.
"it fits within the definition of stealing as set out in the Theft Act 1968"
This is quite possibly the sadest thing I have ever read on the forums here!!!:rotfl:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Why is it the saddest thing? You clearly don't read too much. You are right, in the grand schem of things it is unimportant. That said it doesn't make it right does it!
As for the Theft Act, well forgive me but if you can't actually post a useful comment to rebut it, then I can only assume that you agree.0 -
