:rotfl: I wasn't sure about the vinegar. BUT was pleasantly surprised! The clothes are soft, there is no smell of vinegar and all i can smell is the household soap from the washing detergent

caught up on a few more diaries
forgot to say I sold my microwave this week for £20 :T , exactly what i paid for it- I then spent the money on a new pair of boots though :rotfl: in my defense they were a bargain. They are the EXACT same pair that i had to throw away (from over use :rotfl:) although they are brown! But still a very comfy, brand new (still have stickers on) pair of cl@rks boots for £20  you agree with me right? I deffo did the right thing
:rotfl:
Oh and I need to stop g00gling things. I no longer use my microwave after reading things on the net about what they do to your food :rotfl: perhaps I should just come on here more rather than spending my time getting more paranoid about everything!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Well well, i've returned for a few days in a row! Dare I say i'm getting back into the MSE ways :money:
Today ds2 started his new nursery and he wears a uniform, omgosh he looks so cutebut far too small and he starts school in September, how will i ever let him go without crying
It's quite nice to have the afternoon to myself instead of the morning as the mornings are always quite rushed after the first school run. Hoping I have no phone calls though saying ds2 is crying because i'm not there! We didn't sneak off but he ran away and wouldn't say goodbye so i'm wondering if he thinks i'm still there somewhere :rotfl:
DH has just told me he should be getting £200 back someday soon from work. First I knew about it! He paid for a course at the beginning of the month, never told me until now and has now decided he doesn't want to do it! So he should be getting a refund soon, which means we may actually have food till payday now:rotfl:
I am thinking of doing some mini challenges on here again. May not actually join in on the actual threads as there is always too much catching up to do but I think it may help keep me on track.....i'd like to up the stepchange (formerly CCCS ) payments so the DFD is brought closer than 2019 :eek::eek::eek:! But perhaps I should walk before running and just leave it as it is until ds2 starts school full time in a few months which means I am free to do more things to money save, earn money and other such :money: things! Hmmmmmmmm.
Oh did I tell you i've taken up a new hobby?? If so, feel free to ignore the next part! I've decided i'd like to learn something useful, something relatively cheap and easy to do! So........I took up knitting in January :T and i now know how to do a purl sticth, a knit stitch and can make patterns from each one :T I've yet to master a slip stitch. In fact i've not tried, it looks too hardand the same goes for crocheting too
i'm making squares which i will eventually turn into a blanket. So learning something useful, to create something useful :T win, win
There is a small cost though, i am subscribed to a magazine which is £18 every 4 weeks. Considering I don't do much else though I see this as my treat and look forward to it  It's official. I have turned into my grandmother! :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway a NSD here! :j First of many more I hope!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
