  • Alice- thanking you kindly :) and I know it seems like only yesterday I was buying all the little puppy bits for him! Mind he still acts like a puppy so I won't need to be pining for a new baby just yet ;)

Brizzle- ahh you're p1$$ing on my parade now (excuses puns) have heard the army quarters there are dire too so should be all good fun (no???)

Choo- thank you :) i'm going to try and get on here more regularly now it helps keep me on the straight and narrow, although I am not quite so focused on the debt as I once was but it's still there and still needs paying so i suppose i ought to get all the tips i can from you lot ;)

    Skint- thank you!

How lovely to come back to friends.. I missed coming on here, have noticed i'm not the only one to be absent from their diary though so i hope that as time goes by more people will return! Anyway back to reading everyone's journeys thus far.............

  • Thank you all :)

Well Tenant finally paid her owing rent today (well some of it!) So i've booked a hair cut for tomorrow, she comes to me so only a tenner :), also bought a new pair of boots as other ones literally fell apart (was very embarrassing when soles actually fell off on school run- oops!) They were only £19 in sale too -I was good and put the £100 pair back ;) !

Kids all fed and will put them to bed soon, ds1 and I are watching marchl@ands on dvd atm so we'll watch the last few episodes then I am off to dreamland! I've been going to the gym recently and my energy is zzzzzzzzzapped!!!!!!!

I still haven't caught up on everyone (tut naughty dfw!) and I really do intend to!

    Bye for now :)

  • Wow, you really seem so much happier these days.

What was the turning point for you? was it working things out with the husband or was it DS being back home? Or was it realising that you wanted to control your money rather than be debt free asap?

I am just curious as to where the big change came, I love reading the upbeat posts. x
