Hi everyone
*waves*
I hope you are all ok, thank you for posting to see if i'm ok it really is appreciated, nice to know someone cares and all
Well i feel stuck in limbo at the moment, applied for IS last month (about this time in fact) and still not got any reply as to whether i am entitled. It is pay day tomorrow for H and he is transferring £1k into my account which just about covers bills. My child benefit for the month will have to cover my food. I spent the child tax credit alreadykids needed new coats, hate, scarves etc & new clothes. Scoured local selling sites and i was always too late to get the bargains so i gave up dfw style, went to matalan, mothercare & tesco and spent nearly £300 in 3 days
:( -fearing i am slipping back to old ways here. ONLY saving grace is i have no credit cards!!!
Have been up and down over the split to be honest, one day am fine, the next i wonder if we should get back together. He is always round here, i feed him most days (stopping from today!!) and yesterday he came over, had some stew, laid all over my sofa making himself properly at home. I asked if he was going to play with the kids or doze off and he snapped at me that he was tired, like it was my fault. All so childish, but reminded me why we did split and what a w*&K^r he can be at times towards me.
Good news- i've lost around 10 lb in weighteven squeezed myself into a size 10 pair of jeans today :T ....bad news is i have no money to move, no credit good enough to get anywhere decent so i am stuck as to what to do about moving tbh. Dad offered to help but unfortunately he can't atm, things gone from bad to worse with his situation so he's in a catch 22 about helping me. It never rains but pours eh. Oh and DD has been off sick from school more often than she's been in there! AND ds2 has decided to play the sick card already. Only one week after starting nursery *sigh*! They miss their dad and are always asking when he will be back and why we can't get along and live together again. It's made my job of moving on/forward much tougher.
I really need to get back on here but just have no enthusiasm for saving money right now, in fact all i want to do is shop and spend it all....someone please tell me offi can't seem to stop myself!! And this is exactly what got me into this mess in the first place. Oh and did i say CCCS want me to pay my share, H can't take it over. So i said fine, then ignored their phone calls, have thrown creditors letters away and not paid a damned penny (suppose would help if i had any money left). I took the dog for a walk today and lost my last fiver. Surely things must start to look up soon?????

Hello honey, I'm so glad to finally hear from you, you've been in my thoughts often.
Well done on the weight loss, even if it is stress related, it can only help to make you feel better about yourself.
It is difficult making the leap to call things a day, I went through the same with my 1st not so DH and dithered over what was right. In the end though I started recording how he made me feel when he wasn't making an effort, which was too often to fail to miss really and finally realised I was worth so much more. As are you my dear. I know its difficult doing this but its not fair on you to keep putting up with his carp.
Your wanting to spend is a sure sign of the stress you are under and the only real way to stop it is to look at what is making you unhappy.
My advice, log into this diary and use it as a stress buster instead of debt buster for now. It'll help you to see how supported you are, which can only help.
You need to chase IS and tell them how much stress they are putting you under by not sorting out your claim.
Now, please look after yourself and log in now and then to let us know you are ok, even just using the thanks button so we know you are around if you don't feel like chatting. You know where I am if you need to talk.
Lots of hugs for you and your DC
