Thanks Granny & Meow
feel a little better after going up at 9.30 & asking ds1 to feed the little ones and let the dog out this morning so got up at 9.30 am :T My body is definitely in favour of 12 hour sleeps ! Still a tad achy and headachy but nowhere near as bad as yesterday!
Have decided to put food shopping off till tomorrow as i've got enough in for dinner- Roast Beef with roast potatoes, carrots (i bought LOADS as they were on offer pmsl and we've had them with every meal nearly this week) I would love some diet coke, think my body is having withdrawal symptoms  so may send ds1 out for some later!
I still need to pop to the garage today at some point. It is only 100 m from out house but I put it off all the time when i need to go (soo lazy)
have a few ebay items ending today and will bump up my fb items so they are at the top for those people sat doing sfa on a sunday morning with a cup of tea looking for something to buyand that is about as MSE as i shall get today!

Morning Alice i x-posted with you
you're right half the battle is what to buy, and teenagers are a nightmare. DS1 would just love money but i want him to have stuff to open ...and then it is deciding how much money is enough for him when we're on such a horribly tight budget! xx

Argh! The kids are driving me mad already
Not sure if i can put up with this all holiday without going mad
so far, ds2 has eaten all the biscuits, messed up my bathroom (with a number 2 ) and climbed over the fence into the neighbours garden. Then him & dd decided to hold the dog down and hit him which made me super angry
so much so that they both got a smack with trousers down on their behinds and i didn't care if the neighbours saw. They have also trashed my garden by emptying out the shed. Everytime i complete a job they mess it up
Have officially had enough!!!
The only plus sides to today:
i managed to do a wash and get it out on the line to dry
Made £4
Nsd #4 in a row
front room is tidy (have locked them out of there)
Have made a date with mum to go up around the 1st Aug and will stay for 4-5 days then when i come back i will leave ds1 with her so he can help her to decorate. When i pick him up i will leave dd for a few days as mum promised her some girly days out
am now wondering who else i can ship them off toIt hasn't gone un-noticed though that noone has offered to have DS2
and even more worryingly i understand why!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It's a nightmare these summer holidays aren't they! I thought a few years back we were going to switch and try shorter hols with longer at other times of the year to even it out. Well my Roast Beef is in, it took ages to defrost so dinner will be late now (for us!) at least 6.30pm, so hoping the kids don't come in in the next hour whinging, although i very much doubt it esp as they have eaten all the biscuits & been taking snacks from the neighbours kids over the fence (i wonder if their mums know they've raided the pantry too
) I'm starving already but it will do me some good to hold out
I've asked ds1 if he will look after the kids tomorrow morning for an hour. Firstly I want a break, secondly I thought i should get down the gym!
I'm feeling a bit down as all my friends have started talking about their holidayslots of talk about, Hawaii, France, Turkey, Africa, Australia and other places all over my fb currently *sigh* I wonder even when we are debt-free whether we will be able to afford these trips, i doubt it really so i shouldn't get so down about it. But I do! It was so easy to disappear on a last minute trip with one child, with 3 i wouldn't even know where to begin
!
Ok going to get off my soap box now and get on with watching my ebay items end to see what needs posting next week! Have sold the ebay item to my sister that went for £48. She is going to give me £20-25 for them (can't remember what we agreed on now) so better than nowt and saves me re-listing and spending a whole week answering questions about themMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Hi DFW. I really understand what you are going through, with kid, no food and no luxurious holiday like everyone else. It is only day 2 of the holidays!
My 6 year old has been acting like a miserable teenager since the moment she got home from school friday. She even turned her music up to full yesterday and slammed door on me - she will learn - i took cd player away
My 2 have also been know to eat next door out of house and home if i say no to snacks - next door has even less money than we do so i have now given them strick instructions not to take food from them.
I really hope you get some time to yourself in the next few days - its what you need to help keep you goingSending some hugs your way x

:j:j:j Morning :j:j:j
Well i'm feeling much better this morning, have already been for a run with the dog, got one load of washing in
, written the shopping list ( and finalised meal plan of what is left)
and am ready to go to the shops
:T
I think i'm taking kids round a friends later for a swim in her pool (inflatable my friends aren't rich unfortunately) so kids will be hopefully worn out and tired and house should stay clean :j
Banking done, I have more in there than i thoughtbut still have my budgeted amount to spend and not over that so will work out later if i have more bills due out, other than the one i've already mentioned, and see if i can transfer more to my savings account
I've also once again joined the grocery challenge for £250 :rotfl: not sure this is achievable but i shall give it a go :T
And best of all i've learnt how to do the fun smileysMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
