  • Ahh thank you all :) i had a fab day and ds1 is home, where he belongs ;) we got to visit his new boarding house for next year and he's happy with what he's been allocated as friends are going with him to the same house :T always a good start with my homesick child huh :)

He looked very smart in his blues and marched very well (sorry can't be more technical as i've no idea what is good and not really) ;) We drove into the town and we actually couldn't see 10 feet in front of us due to heavy fog  2 hours later and the rain (torrential!) and fog had lifted :T and the parade went ahead :) we were lucky really with the weather!

Have spent an actual fortune -to us- on take away food today :( not happy about it but we all needed feeding so will have to knock that expense on the head i think!

Tenant has paid her holding deposit ;) i text her telling her someone else had gone round the house and was very interested. Next thing i know money is being transferred.....she probably thinks i was lying but i''ll have you know it's true ;) -no really! I forgot to tell my blokey in wales that i had a prospective tenant and not to show to anyone else so he's still been showing it OOPS! :o cue me having to make lots of phone calls today to cancel more viewings and tell the other lady who wanted it she was too late !! She sounded rude anyway and was trying to knock money off pffft! Get on yer bike!

Right i've only come on for a quick catch up with everyone's diaries and have been on for an hour now! Must go to sleep am thoroughly exhausted and probably speaking/typing gibberish! Good night all!

  • Good Morning!

Well as i said above i made a purchase this morning for £83  I bought the christmas panto tickets :j I thought i would have been nearly the first one there, but nope christmas eve was nearly sold out :eek::eek::eek: at what date do these people book :eek: Anyway i managed to get 2nd row from stage sort of in the middle and it was £4 cheaper per ticket than last year :T so a saving of £20 :money: if i had got one row further back i would have been paying £20 a ticket  So christmas eve is sorted out now :D although now to go play with online banking to try and absorb some of the costs without using all my tenancy money :D oopsy :p
