  • Anyway house is tidy downstairs :) -am hoping the teacher doesn't want a tour round the whole house because upstairs is a pig sty :rotfl:

DS2 has a cold now & is moaning - so am waiting for the temperature to hit him next!

Keep checking bank, unfortunately no more money just appearing in there yet :rotfl:

Have called council tax man and left him a message.

Have to sort out my breakdown cover as it expires in August and new quote is £38 -i'm sure i can get it cheaper and with cash back :money:

Pet insurance money still not taken from bank so must leave £7.75 in there. I think the meal we had planned on Friday will have to be Mcdonalds as no money to pay for anything else.

DH goes to olympics on 15th which is DD birthday so he may be around for a bit of it, hoping he gets to see her open her pressies at least. Thankfully presents all sorted. Also DS2 birthday at end of month and the pressies for him are sorted too. Not got enough money for a party so will have to just give them a little tea party for the 3 of them & me :(

Have i mentioned lately how much i hate being poor!

    hi dfw,

If your dd goes to the nursery/school already, then you usually get a place as it would be difficult to take 2 kids to 2 different schools and pick them up aswell. I would ring them and ask if he has got a place and if not why?

Sorry things arent going very well for you at the moment, hopefully things will turn around soon.

Hope you dad is ok too

Ahh see i argued this point already, and as dd leaves the nursery this July and ds is due to start in september they don't have to offer me a place :(!

I kind of wish i had struggled this last term and sent him there and paid. that way I would have been guaranteed a place in september as he was already in the system. Oh well too late now and all those other parents that could afford it have done this and therefore queue jumped so to speak because even though i've had his name down for a year there were spaces in his class. So if someone wants a place now they can have it. And those that chose to wait have to wait for a space to become available if there are none. If that makes sense. I did have a good old moan though so am hoping they make room for him still ;)
