Morning! Sorry for not coming back on
well yesterday didn't get any worse thankfully but also didn't get any better! Today we're all tired after DD was awake for most of the night with a high temperature, so i gave her the day off nursery & ever since she has had the day off all her and her brother have done is argue & mess my house up! Not good esp as i have dd's new teacher from infant school due this afternoon for a home visit :wall:
DH took puppy for a run this morning, he managed to do 3 miles  which i thought was a lot for a puppy and was expecting the poor thing to come home half dead! But nope he came home and actually ate his food (been sticking his nose up at it for the last few days!) and went to sleep :T
Have had the nursery on the phone apologising for not having had puppy in for show and tell sooner. I threw a little bit of a paddy about it yesterday. The pup has tripled in size and i told them not to bother doing the risk assessment, it was clearly too much hard work and i would keep him at homeseems my strop did the trick he is going in tomorrow so long as dd is better. And if she is not i told them i won't be organising another day as fed up of being messed around
Not heard from dad since the worrying text. Not good news there at all :(
Have had the Welsh county council on the phone demanding to look around my house or else they are charging me council tax at full rate. This is all i need right now so will have to message the man i have over there with keys to see if he can meet the council bloke now :wall:
My tax credits have gone in, bills have gone out, i've filled out the spreadsheet and i have £55 per week to live on :eek::eek: AM praying the tenant sends over the holding deposit VERY soon so that figure can be bumped up a little at least. £55 won't go very far with ds1 on holiday & all three of them having growth spurts ...
DH still hasn't sorted out his phone bill. He better do it or else i will throw the sim card in the bin
Went to the gym yesterday but it was packed so we only did 40 mins will try again later if i have the energy (and motivation!)
Just looking forward to Friday now so i can get ds1 home. Last night i was very tempted to do a runner and get ds and run off somewhere away from the debt, away from my house & go travelling. I would like to know on what planet i thought this was going to happen.....:dance: Would be so nice to have the odd £20k hanging around though so i could take the kids out of school, go travelling, be able to feed us and sleep under the stars:rotfl:
Anyway back to real life. The floor needs hoovering again, the dishes need washing & toys need picking up..............:(! Hope everyone is well!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Hope the little one is feeling better after Calpol and hopefully a sleep.
Glad DH is sorting out his phone bill for you, thats one phone call you dont need to think about.
Can you keep DS2's name on a waiting list at all just incase people change their minds, move house etc or doesnt it work like that ? Its been a while since I had to deal with nurseries and I cant remember.
Understanding you cant post abotut your dad, but I really hope whatever is wrong it is resolvable and as for the biscuit tin thats what its there for in times of stress. I hit the Choccie Biscuit tin for breakfast this morning, noe that was really bad .
Hope you are getting some sleep and wake up feeling more positive tomorrow and ready to tackle the day ! x
Will keep ds2 on the waiting list, i nearly told them to stick it. But the sensible me (it pops out every now and then) said no shhhhhhhhhhh and keep on the waiting list! I haven't even had a firm no yet, but I know others who have had a yes so I'm only assuming it's a no............but surely if it were a yes i would have heard???:think:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. hi dfw,
If your dd goes to the nursery/school already, then you usually get a place as it would be difficult to take 2 kids to 2 different schools and pick them up aswell. I would ring them and ask if he has got a place and if not why?
Sorry things arent going very well for you at the moment, hopefully things will turn around soon.
Hope you dad is ok tooPAD Maker0 -
oops overlapped with you. I wouldnt wait, i would appeal the decision as its the wrong decisionPAD Maker0
