    Hi DFW,

It seems everyone buys panto tickets early.
Who would have thought in July that there would be so many sold.

I wish when we log on to online banking and move money around that it would somehow increase in value. :rotfl:

    I hope you're enjoying the week-end. :)

busy busy day then - we will be doing the same only spending no money on shopping as we have none until tomorrow! Think we will be baking some cakes, trying to make crisps (for pack lunches tomorrow) and have already taken chicken out of freezer ready for roast tonight.

    Have a great day :)

Well crisps were half a success - i think with some work we could get everyone liking them.

Take value lasagna sheets and cook in saucepan until done. Remove from water and cut into bitesize pieces. Bake in oven until dried out - i did it at 200 celcius for around 15 min but my oven never keeps to normal cooking times so just watch them until they look slightly browned.

I sprinkled some with paprika before cooking - these didnt really have much taste but i did some plain ones and then once cooked i shock some salt over them. These were nice and we all prefered them. I think if you need crisps and no money but have sheets in cupboard its a good alternative - however walkers have been perfecting their crisps for a while so obviously they taste much better. Would imagine my home made ones are slightly healthier though as no oil?

Give them a go - wondering if i could just use pasta shapes?

  • oh wow! I tried them ONCE way back in the slimming world days but i used really thinly sliced potatoes....would NEVER have thought to use lasagne sheets ! And always have tonnes of those so may have to give that one a go thanks hun :D xx

  • Well kind of gave up on cleaning as i wanted stuff cleared straight into garage but its wet wet wet and i think dh & ds1 are scared of melting in the rain :p So the stuff for the garage is piling in the front room! So will get back onto that once the rain clears a little!

Have listed 8 items on gumtree, about 6 items on FB, 6 on ebay. the ones on ebay are on for 99p  some are expensive BUT i want to clear the house out so will / am taking a risk! One item has a bid on already so if nothing else i have made 99p :rotfl:

I've also just made £7 on a small bundle of clothes on fb :j all monies this week are going towards DD cake i have ordered :T and a sweet tree....I got a giant cupcake with her name on & age for £15 :T -£12 off normal price :money: i pleaded poverty and it worked :D:rotfl: Also getting her a little sweet tree & girls goodie bag (not sure what is in this) as the lady who makes them got rained off the boot fair ;) bad for her good for me :money: can get both for £9 rather than the usual £15 :money::T So i need £24 in all to put towards this so i don't need to raid the weekly money.........game on! £7 down....... £18 to go :)

  • Have now sold:

    Little rain mac-£2 (cost me £1 :D)
Bundle of girls clothes (mentioned earlier post) -£7
Duvet set (wasn't planning on selling this but i have spares and someone was asking for one lol) -£2 (only cost me a fiver many moons ago!)
    =£11 from fb.

Ebay bids on 1 item for 99p with 3 watchers already. Another item has 2 watchers. Not bad as only put them on a couple of hours ago :)

    Nothing from gumtree yet!
