  • Evening! Well good news: I got my £6 back ;) DH had actually saved money aside for it for DS1  (wonders will never cease eh!).

I've spent 2 hours going over bank statements and cross checking tenants claims of payment and i've come to the conclusion that she's been spending all of the housing benefit on herself or her son's nursery. I definitely did not have payments from every time she took out cash!! Since when was nursery fees more important than the roof over your head :doh:So anyway because she's paid me in the last week she is now (kind of) up to date :j I say kind of because housing benefit is a month in arrears. So she's a month in arrears too. But at least it's not 3 months in arrears anymore?!

We have our first bidder on the big item we have on ebay :j:T:j:T:j with 6 days to go  here's hoping i make lots of money! I was planning on taking out my original investment of £110 and keeping it aside to put back into materials/furniture/paint and then any profit onto debt so I can get those 3 debts I wanted to pay off ...paid off!:T so finger's crossed my friends that more than one person wants it!! Oh and Mrs PG if you are reading the current bidder lives in the same place as you!!!

    xx

  • Wow I love the chairs, they look Fantastic.

Hope your hayfever has eased up.
  • Afternoon! It did ease up a little thanks penny :) so i went off to watch ds1 in his sports afternoon instead of a nap. He told me he didn't want me to go as i'd embarrass him :( but i went anyway! It was the local district competition so i thought he'd done really well to get through and wanted to cheer him on. Got there and it was packed!! I brought the dog with me as I thought if I couldn't find him i'd just take the dog for a walk. Anyway long story short, I found him and he was in a right sulk. He didn't know anyone there as he was the only year 9 that had qualified so all the other boys were year 10s. I tried to appease him by telling him that was good. But he then went and messed up all his throws on purpose and told the teacher he thought throwing a discus and a putt shot was a pointless waste of his time and he'd rather be in maths. :( i was mortified and nearly cried on the spot. He got more and more frustrated with everything and kept muttering about how much he didn't want to do it and why did they choose him and he had had enough and that he wished he hadn't tried so hard in school. I honestly wish I hadn't gone :( then when he'd done his last sports I had 10 mins to get across town in rush hour to collect the other two AND one of the other boys was there in a panic because he was supposed to be collecting his sister at another school not far from me. So i offered him a lift back and the teacher was like 'oh i'll jump in as well then' I wouldn't have cared a jot if i hadn't been so disappointed in ds1's attitude all afternoon and was in a better mood. But i wouldn't say no to someone needing help so i took them both back and tbh they were both far more grateful than ds1 so i'm glad I helped them out. I should have left ds1 there to walk back!!!

I got home this afternoon and asked ds1 to look after the kids whilst i did dinner and then he proceeded to be rough with them (he's like 5'8" and they are about 3' but he thinks it's ok to rugby tackle them) at that point i just burst into tears and slammed the kitchen door shut on them to carry on. I've really had enough today :( i'm going to go straight to bed when the smaller ones go up as I really don't want to speak to anyone at all. I do feel better for getting it all out though so thank goodness I have a diary. Fed Up! :(
