Afternoon!
Well dd had her induction at school today
she loved it so am very happy with that! Just to sort out uniforms nearer the time and she's all set for September!
I need to pop to Pets @ home today for doggy food. I have the expenses covered already in one of my online savings accounts
so won't come out of my weekly budget. Am hoping not to spend over £30 on it so that we can save £10 towards vets fees from the money i allocated
The strawberries in the garden are finally going red
and we have a huge red currant bush that is doing well (not bad for a £1 shop buy!)
Washing is all done. Now to put it all away ...!
DH needs to tidy ds1 room as he's been using it as a dumping ground for his kit ;( !
Steak, wedges, corn on the cob for dinner & i've got to find something smart to wear that actually fits me from my wardrobe
can't quite believe my son has been at boarding school for 2 years now! This last term has gone so quick. He's not called me though, not once! Am going to have words about this! Everytime i ring he ignores it....i know talking to your mum isn't cool but still!
Umm nothing more to report apart from no tenancy money yet
hope she hasn't changed her mind like the last one!

ARGH! Got tax credits through the post (after failing to get through to them on the phone)
My award has dropped from £343 to £98  which means when i finally get the tenants in and can call the cccs I can't up it to what it was!!!!
Oh well, I guess i'm one of the lucky ones still to get them, lots of people round here have had theirs scrapped. So will stop moaning and work out how to make up the short fall!!!Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

I also have a whole 42p confirmed on Quidco  and £13 tracked. Can't be paid under a pound so that will sit there till some more confirms!
This evening I have spent time reading the MFW diaries, and actually find it quite depressing that if in a few years i am debt-free from CC's and loans etc i will then have to start all over again on my 105,000 mortgage  and that is not even the house I live in :rotfl: so if i want to buy a house well i can see me having a mortgage well into my 70s if i even live that long :rotfl: sobering thoughts!
I have a plan.............just dont think about it !!!! I'm trying not to ! Mortgage of £335,000 here :eek::eek:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

What figure are they using for this years income - are they using the same/slightly more than last year?
If they are try to work out how much DH will earn this year and if it is less you can ring and let them know and you will get more money.
Or if you leave it and he has earnt less then next June you would get a nice lump sum.
Shout if you want any help0 -

He got 2 payrises in one year
One which had been owed for a loooooong time and the other just a promotion so not sure figures will be much different next year. Bit gutting though as it's dropped £240 off my income :eek::eek::eek:

thanks brizzle, & EE i hope so too  !
Well it is 6.30 far too early for me but dd slept in my bed so that meant elbows in my face, feet in my ribs so am very tired now.
I also have a smart dress day to attend now to which i had an old dress ready for and :eek::eek::eek: it's blumming raining cats & dogs out there!
Sandals and a dress just aren't going to do it i don't think  So racking my brains i've come up with wedges (if i can find them) so my feet won't get wet :rotfl: (sooooo much more practical that sandals on wet grass *rolls eyes*) and another dress that covers slightly more (longer, and has small sleeves) so really it sounds like i'm going in exactly the same thing. But honest i'm not
:think:What is one to wear to these events, when one is poor and has a limited wardrobe *hmph* :rotfl:
Right so that's my day planned....dh hasn't even looked in his wardrobe, i know for a fact the only suit he has is his funeral suit! So guessing he will be looking a bit morbid for the day!
Hope everyone has a good one and is safely in doors whilst the rain lets loose.....imagine me outside in it ooooh i'd say between 12-4pm! AND i checked the weather, THE only time it will rain there is 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm.:doh::doh:
Def will not be a NSD either unfortunately but will try and claw back as much as i can (for obvious reasons of being skint!)
Have a good day all

Have a really good day today DFW, despite the rain. You never know it could miraculously clear up and be bright and sunny like yesterday by this afternoon.
I am sure the dress and wedges will look lovely despite possibly your toes getting wet ! :eek:Has DH and bright tie or shirt lurking somewhere he could wear to jazz him up a bit ?! This weather is making it really difficult to know what to put on isnt it ? I am really struggling to know what to put on each day .
Anyway hope your days goes well xxx
