Morning All

Not had a good night sleep

I took my cat to the vets yesterday, and sadly - he had to be put to sleep!
Im so gutted, upset, feel sick, DS was so upset, he didnt sleep too well either

He suffered kidney failure and his heart was tachi cardic, and cos his kidneys wasn't working, the ammonia from his urine wasn't breaking down and got into his system! I know in all hearts it was the right thing to do, but I really miss him!

Ive got to tackle the pet insurance company, but OH said he'll do that for me. Plus Im not looking forward to work!

Im glad the sun shining, and hopefully if it stays like that, we will bury him later!

Im going now, cant see the keyboard for tears

Good morning everyone,

Not been well over the weekend - at first thought i had had too much to drink on Saturday night (went out with a friend, her chap and his brother, nothing romantic tho, just a good night out which doesnt happen often) but then by yesterday afternoon when i couldnt even keep water down (sorry if TMI) along with stomach pains i think i had a bug, friend wondered if my drink had been spiked, as one minute i was fine, the next i wasnt, but i dont think so as i can remember what happened while we were out (not a lot, but did see the luner eclipse!!!)
Feeling a bit better today, stomach still not 100%, but im keeping my vimto down (cant face a cup of tea yet) and i might try some toast in a bit. Have 4 children here today, but 2 are older so they will be ok, but might be bad childminder and put a dvd on this afternoon if i start flagging.
Havnt read any of the thread since Sat morning, so hope everyone is ok.

SkyStar hope you feel better today DD2 had a bout of sickness and diohorea on thursday night but she was fine again on fri and some friends of ours had the same on sat so hopefully you have only got a 24hour thing

Well, this is the first day at the office on my own. Not looking forward to it as usually when the boss goes on holiday someone phones and needs something doing yesterday and they hit the roof when they hear he is on holiday. :rolleyes: There is only so much I can do and this time, I'm telling myself that I WILL NOT stress myself out trying to be all things to all people. Wish me luck all the same.

Steak pie with mash, gravy and veg for DS and DD tonight. I don't eat beef so I will have to raid the freezer and see if I have any one-portion meals frozen for such an occasion.

I managed to lose my watch yesterday and I feel naked without it! so tomorrow's job will be to find a cheap-ish replacement.

Emma I'm so sorry to hear your news.

I didn't get much sleep last night, more through anger than anything else, everytime I turn on this computer I find more and more stuff that he's been sending her and he is still lying through his teeth.

I've got loads to do today, phone calls to make and job centres to visit, hopefully something will come of it!

Moggins - Just caught up with all the news - so sorry to hear what's happened.

Grey and miserable here today and DD's have a day off - teacher training - We were going to pop to town but I'm not going to stand at the bus stop in pouring rain.

Had a lovely weekend, out for a meal with friends on Saturday night to celebrate DD1's grammar school placement, had the table all decorated with balloons and streamers for them. Yesterday my parents came down for a surprise Sunday lunch to congratulate DD1 and bought her a videocamera!!! :eek: She's walking around with it attached to her hand, filming everything:eek: :rolleyes:

House is clean and tidy so not a great deal to do today - will crack on with some washing (does it ever end?) and then spend some time on my new "step machine" thingy...one of these ones that makes you feel like your skiing......will make sure DD1 isn't filming - it won't be pretty!

Got some sausages to use up for tea that I bought on a MS job at the weekend, also got the remains of yesterdays dinner to make into soup.
