    Hi everyone.

    Moggins Nice one!

Just a quickie today as I need to run a bath for the kids in a minute. I've been out for most of the day shopping, going on messages etc. We had chicken for tea and so it's fajitas tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do yet with the stock, either soup, pies or curry. Anyway we'll get at least three meals out of it. :j
    Have a good night.

Good evening everyone, haven't posted for a couple of days as not much to say. Have been sleeping off the effects of night duty.

From reading the last 2 days threads it seems like loads of people need :grouphug: and moggins deserves a big round of applause :T

Have nothing of interest to add. Am being very organised with dinner tonight and eating stuffed peppers that I made for the freezer on a day off so no cooking for me tonight-just chuck it in the oven to heat then eat (same with tomorrow nights shepherds pie (made double last week fro the freezer)- learning loads from the web site and DH is amazed as I normally would get home from a busy day too tired to cook and the take away menus would be out.

Have a good day tomorrow (will not check out site till eve as at work from 7am and top manager on ward tomorrow- better make a good impression)

Sympathies to all the final year Uni students & Mum's I'm there too, seem to spend more time on Messenger to my DS just keeping his feet on the ground and playing wooden indian, luckily his subject is Business Studies so I have a good grasp of what he is on about, but as we worked out at the weekend for him 12 weeks of head down, and then it is over. He's pulling a lit review together for his dissertation and reading, reading, reading before he starts the writing, but it seems to have a structure, which helps. :j

As for the dirt, well I find it easier to send DH in and not see it. His house is 5 guys, and a squat couldn't be worse. Luckily he is eating (and sleeping of course) at his GF's which is clean and reasonably tidy (I'm allowed in there but don't try to go in the guys). I am prepared to get involved in a supervisory capacity if they want their deposit back after the studies have finished. If they are prepared to clean to my standards, then I will fight the Agency for their deposit for them. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Sympathies/Hugs/Birthday Congratulations where appropriate.

Is the fastbake BM really good, and not stodgy as I found a BM before? Really am tempted, but need it to be light. Would anyone like to PM me with details so not to clog the thread up? Much appreciated.

Just used the last of the ready to cook meat pies from the freezer. Got some Lidl cubed Steak and some kidneys ready to go in the SC. 70% off meat at Lidl ATM. :T

BTW Knitting Wool and Crocheting Cotton on special of Lidl from Thursday 15th March, together with Sewing Machine for £39.99, sewing sets, knitting/crocheting.handdicraft needs and sewing accessory boxes and magnifying glass. Not on web yet, but in booklet instore. Anyone wanting any more details, PM me.

Got rid of some pans via Freecycle this weekend, how do you know that the people taking them are not just going to car boot them. On this occasion I think they were genuine, but the same names seem to come up a lot, or am I just being skeptical? Then again, it saves me going to the tip.;)

Come on then Moggins let's have a look at the new hairdo!!

Whoever/whatever I have forgotten apologies, take care all.
Amie - u r forgiven for the photo it was nice to see.
    DG

    Edited to say:
I know what I forgot, re a message I read this morning on makeup. Look at the Boots thread, if you spend £15 on No.7 you get a free jewellery wrap with a makeup set in, just right for your handbag. However, if you buy 2 No. 7 Sun Cream/After Sun Lotion/Pre-Sun Lotions, which cost around £7.50 they are 2for1 and only cost £7.50 total, but if you have already spent £5 at boots (on anything) i.e. 2 sanctuary products and get your free £10 Sanctuary weekend bag, you will have a No.7 £5 off voucher, so will cost you £2.50! Yes I have done it it does work. :T :T

    Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is doing as good as possible - I still need to go and reread a few threads as I only skim read them before, so *hugs* to anyone who needs one.

A really quiet day in work today - I dunno where everyone was  Was nice in the end though, as got quite a bit of computer work done  I had a lovely weekend visiting twink - thanks again for washing the car even though you were meant to tell me when you were going to do it so I could help! (also got some loooooovely pancakes which was a treat) :D Got to go and see kyle and family too - remember now, you're going to show me what you learnt at your cardmaking class today! :p Hope the doctors appointment went well...

*hugs* to crazychic - sorry to hear about your cat
*hugs* to moggins - its great hearing you more upbeat again - you go for it! I hope you get a job soon, and your haircut sounds great!

*hugs* to everyone, take or leave as you please.....

Great advice from Pooky ref the sleeping arrangements moggins, either give him an air bed or the couch! And dont let him get too settled
Thats an excellent offer ref the car! And well done for the job hunting! Stay strong! Your coming through this brilliantly!

OH rang the pet insurance, but I had to speak to them in the end. I cancelled the policy, and they will send forms out for me to fill in ref his death, and to provide a letter from the vets, and they will reimburse me for the value of him being a persian cat! I dont want the money! Thats not going to bring him back! I will feel guilty in taking it!

Never made it to toys-r-us, as DS had an almighty strop on him! Providing he's in a better mood, we may go tomorrow.

Anyway, off now to write a poem for Nanna's (would be) birthday tomorrow. Will be meeting my mum at crem after work!

    Good night all
    Love Emma xxx

    roz-v I love going to Ice-sheffield!
