Well as i had the day off thanks to not having a spare room I went shopping. Got some absolute bargins but did spend rather a lot. Oh well.
A :grouphug: to all that need it with the times ahead.
I have to go to w**k tomorrow for the first time as a bit of "supply" since i became unemployed so will fit the bathroom in around my time. I think it might be a shock to the system having to go do some paid work!
Happy Friday everyone!

Haven't got much done today but at least downstairs is presentable.
Back from the vets and she's on antibiotics for a week before going back next Thursday to have growth removed. Vet says she's fit and healthy so should be no problems (even though she's 11). It's such a relief I though I was going to be coming home without her.

Erm, well today I've been working, so list is limited on what I've completed:
Personal paperwork completed - intray now not overflowing and bills paid, bank a/c's reconciled
Washing x 3 done, hung outside, that which is dry has been put away (thank you DH), that which is not has been hung on the airer.
Meal plan almost completed (see I knew there was a good reason to go to WW's tonight - time to sit down and think!)
Tomorrow, looks like I'm going to be busy, especially as I need to fit the ironing in somewhere and go shopping as well as my "paid" work!GC - March 2024 -0 -

DS was lovely this morning - saw the clean stairs and said "all empty - much better" so cute, made me smile! Unlike DOH who decided to tip out a whole drawer onto the clean bedroom floor to find something to wear grrr!
Anyway, me and ds did his room briefly before he went to bed. Didnt hoover as he is scared of it and obviously cant hoover in his room while he is asleep. He did get a bit carried away with the feather duster - started taking all his toys out from under the bed to clean them! Had to put a stop to that or it would have been a very late night!Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0 -
Oh Pigpen - please keep a clear head. Hugs to you and yours . . .
Have already walked the puppy and have the second load of washing in the machine and nearly finished.

pigpen, honey, I know it seems so much easier to just drink, but it isn't!!
Alcohol actually enhances your emotions! So it is NOT helping yoU!
I have really no idea what's going on in your life (I must have missed something...) all I know is one day your telling of a bathroom re-doing, and the next I see you saying you've asked him to move out!
It's the absolute pits when your relationship has gone sour, but getting (staying) drunk is NOT the answer honey. It really only makes it worse!
have a good almighty cry. In the shower always worked for me.. cuz i was wet then anyway!
Come on honey, you've got kids to take care of. You must stay clear for them.
*BIG HUGS*

Broomstick27 what a cutie little DS you have, sounds like a mini apprentice too!
Catowen if it makes you feel any better my neighbour got pooped on earlier as he was walking back to the house, I had to come inside and giggle like a little kid :rotfl:
Pigpen, hope you manage to shake this asap. Drinking isn't god for you. http://icteesside.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0001head/eveninggazette/tm_method=full%26objectid=14155854%26siteid=50080-name_page.html I've never mentioned it before, as I can barely talk about it without flooding into tears, but that is the proof. Frances (better know as Marie) was my Aunty. Also a very dear friend, more like a sister as we weren't that far apart in age and got on so well, Marie, my cousin and I often said it was like we were sisters. The alcohol was very short term abuse, just made her feel better she said, was a matter of months, then 6 paracetamol in one day (as prescribed) and she was deadPlease be careful.
One day I might be more organised...........
