I am knackered. Heavy day at work today. Came home and cooked dinner. Got DD to clean up kitchen and DW on just now. Got DS to tidy up landing and bathroom floor (it was his mess). I sat on my fat butt and started reading 'Thrifty ways for modern days'. Haven't moved since except to hang up washing . Oops ! xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.

Head back on barely.. but a bit better than yesterday.. though it might not last long!! I think I have given up eating as well now (don't worry I am a pig it won't last long and could be a residual effect from being ill at the weekend) Definitely won't be the fat bridesmaid if this continues lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Morning all...
Pigpen - I am pleased to hear you are a bit brighter, hope it lasts, we are all with you if you need it.
Lil-me, thanks for keeping up with the list while moggins has her hand full its much appreciated, for some reason I find it impossible to do unless its posted, its a bit like being a school and having homework LOL, you know you wouldnt do it by choice but if someone tells you then you have to.
Looking forward to todays as the study really needs a sort out, I need to find somethign to store all the disks etc in.Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Well I have just been catching up with the posts on here - have been really busy with work and going out (the latter having a more detrimental effect as too much alcohol and too little sleep taking their toll). Anyway, the house has suffered as a result and although I haven't been flying long I want to keep the habit and I really appreciated having a clean and tidy home.
Anyway, after a week of neglect the signs are there but fortunately not too bad so back on track today. I know I shouldn't play catch up but I have a bit of time today so as well as doing today's job of the bathroom (don't have a study) I am intending to do the kitchen, and also have a quick tidy up in the living room.
If I have time over the weekend will do a quick vacuum round the living room and bedroom but reckon if I get the kitchen and bathroom done that will make me feel back on track and ready to follow the list again properly next week.
Oh yes, I am going to be reaching up and tackling the cobweb I noticed at the top of the stairs when I came down this morning!!
Aiming to post at least every other day to try and keep me on track - feel free to chase me if you don't see me on here as I may need a little push!
Have a productive day everyone - may pop on later to update on progress.Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
morning all - pigpen hope you are ok today - you were in my thoughts myabe the reason i couldn't sleep at half 4 this morning
today is my 'at home' day where i don't have a car and no preschool or anything - i have afriend coming this afternoon but other than that chilled. girls eating breakfast with tvas part of fri routine (bad mother no.1!) i will get bathroom done and althoug hdon't have an office i do have laptop on dresser which could do with a boogie in the drawers so will try that
i also need to do cupboard under stairs  and if anything else but dailies and list get done i'll be surprised!!thriftykatie wrote: »Oh yes, I am going to be reaching up and tackling the cobweb I noticed at the top of the stairs when I came down this morning!!
i noticed this today too don't know how as i have been flying since jan (hangs head in shame!)
right well off to be busy catch you all later0 -
sorry scaredy!!! *shame* I went to bed at 9pm.. and got up at 7 this morning.. so maybe alcohol induced sleep is good for you.. who knows!
Hopefully I'll be back flying today.. I am trying to get a wriggle on.. the front room needs beating with a vacuum cleaner!
wash basket still empty.. I'm doing really well keeping on top of that.

Right, got chance to post before take kids to school. Pigpen pleased to hear you're feeling a bit better. Good luck with todays flying but try not to overdo it
I must got straight from dropping kids off to doctors, blood tests at 9.05am so hope I get there on time (have to go to another village as no surgery here) Then must get cracking as soon as I get back, actually I best got get some crickets while I am out. Washings on the line, two loads done and a third in now. Kitchens a bit of a tip but will do that when I get back, all the decorating stuff for the bedroom/hall/stairs is in there at the mo so not much I can do with it yet. Determined to get more of my new room done todaylooking forward to having some space as now I am flying better I will (hopefully) keep it nice.
One day I might be more organised...........
