I'm going to stop looking at the house as i keep seeing more things that i am not happy with. It's like i'm looking at it with fresher eyes than i've had for a while. It is always cluttered, and i can't get rid of it as its things we need. I can't wait till we do our room, and i am going to have lots of fitted cupboards and have better storage0 -
DDs bed stripped and bedding washed and on the line, together with a load of clothes. Beautiful day here. She strips and remakes her own bed (she's 22) and dusts her room. I will vacuum it tomorrow when I do mine. No point in hauling the vacuum up there twice.
I've vacuumed through downstairs. Again. And done the veg for dinner. Also sewed up my work trousers and tabard. Again. Given in and ordered some more trousers because there's barely enough material left to sew up now:D I hate spending money!
Hope you surface again soon Pigpen. I get like that and sometimes it's really hard to climb out of that hole.0 -
pigpen wrote:Today looks set to be a killer... and I've not even looked at todays list. I don't want to live today.. amazing come down from Monday.
When you are way down here I think it can only improve.. maybe..
Hope you are feeling perkier soon Pigpen - I know I haven't 'chatted' to you before as I'm new round these parts but wanted to give you virtual hug. I'm up and down myself this week. Think it's 'cos I'm on the verge of ending my current relationship (only 6 months or so) 'cos I'm really not getting what I need but I keep talking myself out of it and then talking myself back into it and my head is all over the place.
Anyway, I digressHope you feel better as the day goes on and you get some things ticked off your list.

Gooooooood morning all you lovely flyers
Again a sunny day here in bonnie east Scotland!
Kids bedding hanging on the line outside, house airing. Had a bit of retail therapy in town this morning (mostly poundshop) and now I have come home with my scrapbooking goodies, I don't want to do any work.....;)
But I will make myself do the kids rooms, they are not too bad, dreading going behind my DD1 midsleeper  (I have to pull the desk out and crawl underneath and behind the bed) so if I am not back later, someone come and rescue me!!:D
Pigpen Cheer up hen, what can we do for you??? Talk to us.. It can't be easy being such a busy mum, even a supermum needs support some times.. Hope you feel better soon.. Missing you...
Right then:
finish kids bedrooms (dust, hoover, find missing socks in the depths behind midsleeper)
hoover downstairs (needs doing daily because of hairy golden retriever)
ironing, ironing, ironing
If I am fast and efficient I will have time to sit down and do some cardmaking, scrapbooking... so here I go...
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Think I'll get on with some other jobs now :rotfl: Oh, I also read the local free newspaper to check out this weeks "local mystery" (supernatural or murder true stories, written by Tom Slemen) as DD likes me to read it to her. NOT A CHANCE this week, it's about a vampire and I don't think she quite old enough to cope with that sort of story (they spook me enough when he mentions things looking through windows in the middle of the night! ) so it's gone in the recycling box already :rotfl: Can't wait for next weeks installment though :rotfl:
Right, off to put more washing out, make lunch and then finish the kitchen off. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailies

Afternoon everyone!
I was off to a bit of a slow start this morning - up most of the night with a poorly dd. My mum has kindly taken her and ds today so I don't have to take the day off w**k. This also means I've been able to get a few things done before I go off to w**k in a couple of minutes. I was very tempted to stay in bed all morning but once I was awake and getting the littlies ready to leave at 7:30 that was it - I was wide awake.lil_me wrote:Thursday

If you've got no kids rooms or spare rooms, then have a nice day off (apart from dailies and night time routine of course.
I have done all my dailies and the Chilli Con Carne is in the SC so when I get back from w**k about 8pm I won't have to worry about what we're going to eat.
Happy flying everyone - see you later!"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
