. Its been a job ive been meaning to do for some time and with the time i had available due to finishing my chores I went and took some anger out on the wood, Im now sitting by a lovely fire. I love flying!!!!

[QUOTE=debbycatz_Can you or another flylady tell me what the 'dailies' are ? Is this just a list of daily chores that you make up yourself or is there a flylady list of essential 'dailies' ?
Many thanks :T[/QUOTE]
Yes, that is exactly what it is, everyone has their own like WM, DW (washing machine, dishwasher) some people write a huge list and list everything from taking kids to school, pick up, go to postoffice, that kind of thing.
There is also an evening list which is things like: quick tidy the living room and get clothes/ uniforms ready, shine your sink! (if you only do that, you come down in the morning feeling good!) so that when you come down in the morning, your living room greets you tidy and not with mess lying around which will make you feel great!! This alone has made such a difference to me. It only takes 5/10 minutes putting cups in kitchen, tidy kids mess up, make sure kitchen is tidy. But it is very personal.
Take it easy, if you go all guns blazing, which I did in the first week, you easily burn out and get fed up. I started doing things for sight first (left the cupboards and drawers full of mess) and every week add a bit as it should take you less time to do the list as you are keeping on top of things......0 -

My dailies include: clean toilet. (there is 7 of us in the house with just one loo so needs doing everyday)
Keep the kitchen tidy
hoover the high traffic area downstairs. (that means going AROUND the furniture)
I don't list all the stuff I do everyday, because that would take up the entire page! :rotfl:
My night time thingy is: a quick fluff of the living room, shine sink and make sure kitchen is tidy. Make sure there is bread out of the freezer for breakfast.
set up DW to get going on timer switch to run in the night. (cheap electricity at night) Sometimes I set the table for breakfast already, sometimes I can't be bothered.
It's just that sort of thing. Personal for everybody. Figure out what works for you.

Well a slightly shorter day today only out the house 11 hours! so my stairs, landing and bedroom look amazing. I am so shocked, i really thought this was the gonna be the day i said "stuff it" and sat down in front of the telly. Am a bit knackered now though so may go for a bath.Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0

My brain is rapidly moving into meltdown mode.. I don't know why or what has triggered this.. but away we go!!
I foresee getting very little done tomorrow if the mood does not shift.. think I need rain.. lots of it..
I can't be bothered with dashing off out for a beer.. or to shop for the milk.. so I am going to wash my hair, have a shower and go play cards on my mobile in bed..

Zed42 wrote:Tomorrow's list looks fairly achievable, especially as I've already done bedlinen and hoovering in bedroom. Dusting will need to be done. Hall - I will attempt to remove the dangerous objects (do saws, stanley knives, axes, drills - count as dangerous objects!!) but not dust or hoover, no pt DH is still destroying (sorry "renovating") the hall.
In addition, I need to do:- Business Paperwork
- Personal Paperwork
- Entertain DD without the aid of TV, poor girl was a) getting bored by cbeebies, b) getting square eyes.
Yeh, well, let's not dwell on what it was I was meant to be doing, eh
So, today I ended up having a long talk with DD about her "sore tummy" which wasn't and we've banned tv until the weekend at the earliest. Turns out she was telling me that she had a sore tummy in order to stay at home and slob out in front of tv .... so she sounds like a teenager ? Nope, she's 3, I despair, LOL.
Completed:- Entertained DD without tv, and boy is she happier for it.
- Been to the library, changed books
- Been to the market, mooched
- Been to the park and been on the swings
- Put her name on the waiting list for swimming lessons
- Went for a walk, wore her out. Still refused to nap although I did get her to lie still for a total of 10 mins (a record!)
- Completely gutted her room, deep cleaned, moved all the furniture, put up bookshelf which has needed doing for about 4mths.
- Changed her bedlinen and washed it.
- Put away 3 baskets of non-ironing
- Washed bedlinen, hung out on line (not quite dry, but not bad
).
- Polished my sink and bleached it. (it is one of those nasty white plastic ones that if you so much as look it - gets marked and grimy)
- Emptied fridge and cleaned it thoroughly, including seals at the top/sides
- DW done and reloaded
- Bin scrubbed, bleached and left in the sun for a few hours
- Got DD to eat 3 full meals, without whingeing
