Rach - Dyson, I've got the Turbo Brush which I use on my beds, I would say if you haven't the litte one which you use for sofas etc (usually has fuzzy stuff on the side which touches what you are vacuuming) http://www.witvac.com/ProductImages/accessories/stair%20tool.bmp which tends to be called a 'stair tool'One day I might be more organised...........

I feel better then yesterday, the headache is gone whihc was the worse thng! I have tonsillitis for like the 10th time this year! GP won't do anything now though, not even antibiotics as over the years I've had to have loads of them for tonsillitis so they'll come a time when they won't work.. so.. plodding along! lol

[STRIKE]Check all fire alarms, test and replace battery where needed[/STRIKE] I've actually ordered a new digital carbon monoxide detector too. It's sooooo important for you ALL to make sure you have one! I work in A&E and a few weeks ago we had a lady brought in suffering the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning, she survived and was very very lucky, her husband however had sadly passed away at the scene. If they had had an alarm they would more then likely still be together.
Epps! I sound so depressing! I'm not trust me, I think working where I work makes me see things differently!
I'm off to put in another load of washing nowStarting my DMP Journey.0 -
Pigpen - Your wrist must be very red from all the slapping! Get those fire alarms up. Now - go on woman, get going xxx
Thank god its the master bedroom. The sheets on our bed are manky as. Plus, even though we said from the start, our bedroom would be a kid free zone, it seems to be full of toys and book!
Major washing mission is still ongoing! What the Deuce?0 -
Having to wait to do my room and vacuuming as DP still in bed, but suppose it's a good thing as both boys wet their beds last night so have the lot to wash, it's on the 5th load and there is more to do. Including duvets, driers going to be on all day too I think.
Going to do the skirting boards now as that's quiet, dailies are almost finished apart from cooking other meals/washing up from those. 4 bulbs out so far here, have to add them to shopping list. Bex very good point with the carbon monoxide detectors, I have an electronic alarm one.
Then might just have to wake him up so I can get finished! One day I might be more organised...........

Not doing my bed today, I've been doing it Fridays and I'm sticking to that.
I've done the living room (again) and vacuumed through hallway and kitchen and up the stairs and found the lead would reach into the bathroom and toilet floors too.
Two loads of washing on the line, including the throws from the living room and my coat which keeps getting a black mark on the collar, I think it must be from the seat belt in the work bus.
Feeling a bit bleugh, not ill just fed up. The mud is getting me down. Thoroughly wiping the dog's feet every time she comes in and still getting mud on the carpets and having to clean it up. It's not her fault but it's very wearing for both of us and I just want it to stop now. Even if we didn't get any more rain I think it would take weeks to dry out.0 -
Ok so i didnt manage to get on and post earlier in the week but managed to get some done but had friends visiting so going to have a go at stuff now.
Lil me how did you know about the master bedroom, got in from the pub last night and in the dark i tripped over the cat and sent my glass of juice i was taking to bed all over the bed. So i slept in oj last night and have stripped the bed this am!!!
