3. Iron & put away todays washing
4. One hotspot from my list
5. Nightimes
To all newbies I go with the comments above, I have only been at this a month and do find that it gets easier as the weeks go by and definetly start by doing what you can see, cupboards / drawers come later. I have a list from each room of all the hotspots and try to add one each week to the room when it comes along, I don't always manage it but I am slowly scoring them off the list - I think seeing them scored off is a big incentive to keep going.

I managed to grab 10 child free minutes either side of my massage, and managed to print out all the inserts for my sisters wedding invites, and clean the bathroom. In my senile state, i managed to convinve myself i would be able to scratch something from the list, but it hasn't been on yet. Guess i will be able to substitute it for something else tomorrow or Friday.
DH now washing up for me. What a star. I'm caught up now here and about to watch desperate housewives.

Think I've had a successful first day
Managed to complete the Flylady list for today for doing the master bedroom and stairs etc. Also completed the following:-
General Tidy (my usual Daily)
Put washing away from yesterday
Pegged washing out for today
Done another 2 loads of washing
Done hand washing
Cleaned bathroom really well
Done filing
Hoovered all through
Dusted lounge
Went into town and bought much needed bits and bobs
Made chicken for dinner along with a cheese and mushroom sauce which I attempted for the first time ever (from tips on this board). It was ok, but needs a little refining
I could cheat and have a day off tomorrow as it is kiddies room and I only have an 18 year old who detests me even entering his room. I generally try to dart in when he is out to change bed etc but rarely get chance to do much more. However, I will perhaps play catch up and do one of the previous Flylady days that I missed instead.
I'm pleased with my progress but I have only achieved this 'cos I am off work this week on annual leave. I have no idea how I will summon the energy when I go back to work next week but I will try my best 'cos I hate the whole weekend being taken up with sorting the housework.
Having said that - I bet Flylady doesn't give us weekends off - does she ? I had assumed we have a rest at weekend but mayber I will be very shocked when I see Saturdays list
Thanks for all the encouragement - you flyladies are a great bunch0 -
Weekend lists are usually pretty short, that gives us working flyers a chance to catch up and everyone the chance to spend time with families etcDebts: Mum £3923 0% APR0

Did the stairs on Tuesday along with the hall. Haven't really touched the bedroom except to sort out and list the huge box of stuff for e-bay. Has taken me hours. Will really help master bedroom though when I get rid of it. No real cleaning done but kitchen s&s , living room reasonably tidy. Full days work put in also and a visit to ASDA. It's funny because before I found this site I hardly ever complained but tonight the turkey I had got for dinner had gone off and I returned it and got my money back. I complained to muller re their yoghurts too as there was no fruit in 2 of the ones I bought last week and git £5 vouchers.:D
