Parking in mother and child space

Wow, someone isn't happy today.
At the supermarket I use, and used when my children were babies, they have trolleys (not sure if that is the plural of trolley) for babies who can't sit up yet.
When I use the loo in the supermarket I also use loo paper, soap, paper towels. It is a facility they provide for customers, don't see why babies don't qualify.
I don't know the layout of all supermarket car parks but where I go there are walkways between rows of cars. You can sort your bags, children etc there, don't need to stand between the cars.
I am sorry that you have taken offence at some advice from a more experienced mother.
What offence? I'm not offended in the slightest, I just find your suggestions hilarious :rotfl:
You need to learn a lesson in humility, and admit when you are wrongParent and child parking spaces are the solution, simple as that.

This is a pointless thread since it the policy of all the major supermarkets to allow blue badge holders to park in parent and child spaces if they cant find a vacant disabled bay.0

Sooo? It is still very difficult, do you think it is magically easier to get a child back in the car? They still need the same space, the kid may still tantrum/flail. The mother may also need to climb in if they have a 3 door. Your point is invalid and splitting hairs.

Go on then. Which one.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

When you have a little more experience you might realise how silly you are being. If you really are incapable of coping with a baby a buggy and a bag I can't imagine you are capable of driving. Humility? No, I am not wrong, P & C spaces are a nice gesture but you don't need them you just want them. Will you still be using that space when you baby is 11 years old? Will you need it? Read some of the replies from people who care for the disabled or cope with disability and you might realise you could learn a thing or two about humility.Sell £1500

You're really bitter aren't you lol.
And tell me how can i pick a better space if i choose one with vacant spaces either side then when I come back i have people parked right next to me? I can't tell in advance who will park next to me. next argument.0 -
After hours is fine, children under 12 should be in bed! so i agree with you there.
No what I don't like is the attitude that disabled people are somehow above all us lowly able bodied folk. Plus this thread is to invite opinion and debate, that is what I am providing. My point of view.
A point of view or an opinion does not trump the law, but I am not saying you are not entitled to an opinion, just that you are not in my opinion right and i am stating why I believe that. If you disagree with the law - campaign to have it changed, though the law concerning disabled spaces in Scotland in private car parks has been changed - but there has been very little to no take up of the powers available, supermarkets seem to prefer employing the car park cowboys.
Even after hours you sometimes get a parent and child, but at that time you have plenty of spaces. Some have good reason; some conditions mean children have no idea of time and are active at all hours and taking them to the supermarket is as good a use of time as any, they are thankfully rare though. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. One at a better car park or supermarket for your needs, it might take some forethought and a little more time. But you wouldn't want to put your convenience and a little more driving time over your child's safety would you?
