Happy- before you are naughty, can you help me please?

My iphone wont connect to 3G- i cant try wifi as i am nowhere near any.

When I try and connect, it tells me that it "could not activate mobile data network. You are not subscribed to a mobile data service"

This is not true as i am!

I have tried switching off and on again. I have tried the top and bottom button reset. I have taken the sim out and put it back in again. I have spoken to apple who say i need to either plug it into a computer with i-tunes or take it to apple, neither of which i can do until monday :-(((

Do you have any ideas? Please lovely?

    TIA

Popped to local Tesco before work and finally tried the brunch bars they had SEL £1 and went through at this :( Still bought some as at a £1 still not bad. Looked but no socks so still in the sockless club. Also got the half price quiche using price flop and the vienesse whirls - thing is did I really need them??
