The reports were put in the storage boxes on top after they had a good sort. I did put a couple of first paintings/pics back in. But we limited each of them to one storage box each. Quite a good size one though. Your post made me smile as all their homemade Christmas decorations have a seperate box, I forgot all about that one. :) And there is another one with all the homemade birthday, mother's day cards etc. Would never have let them loose on those. ;)

You lot are all giving me a massive push to sort out DS's stuff. He's got a big room with huge loft cupboards and for years I've just put stuff in them that are his. I've told him when he goes to Uni me and him will have a massive sort out before:(I've got loads of his baby toys, cot, babyclothes, school books:o Mind you I'm not letting DH help, we've still got a box of his action men in the loft!!! so he'll want to keep everything, and I know Nannylala still has my Sindys and Barbies in the loft:eek::eek::eek:

  • Morning all (just :p)

Had a brief, unsuccessful, trip to T's this morning. You win some, you lose some ;) Anyone managed to get the Brunch Bars today?

Thought I had found the bacon, it was lovely and stickered at £2, but it scanned at that. Wanted some anyways so wasn't too bothered. Very tasty it was too in my piece along with a wee fried egg :D:D

I'm surprised Britney Spears is on the US X Factor.

I mean the last time she went near a judging panel they took her kids away from her.

This is why I don't generally do DTD's on batteries (have done once just so i had a few in the drawer for emergencies) or strawberries, and other assorted oddments.

The store I wore out my welcome in I'd only done 3 DTD's but they were all huge so well worth having to give that one a wide berth for a while.

Thats how I treat dtd personally.....unless its big I leave it alone.

Strawberries for dtd???? I bought mine whoopsied last night for 20p. No need to 'waste' a dtd opportunity on stuff like that imo.

Each to their own of course.

Must admit I'm the same now;)In one of my locals their has been a full clipstrip of batteries which is out of date by about 6 weeks (At least) but it really is my local and it's not worth it jut for batteries, plus I still have 100's from the battery glitch:o:o:oIt's turned round the wrong way so no one notices it;)

I'm the other way around I don't have courage/b***s to go for big ones so I tend to chance smaller everyday things if I see an OOD SEL. I won't scan them first either just in case I'm being watched and they accuse me of knowing beforehand. :o

I have had 2 bigs ones for me both alcoholic ones. :rotfl:

Went for a full 6 bottles once but only braved one bottle of champers. :D

Wool27 was definitely the expert when she was down this way, I bet loads go unnoticed in my locals now. ;)
Tiny once you've had a big one(DTD) you'll nevr go back to a little one;););):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sorry couldnt resist;)
Only just stumbled on this thread today, what a friendly lot you all are! :D Reading some posts has taken me back to the good old R&R days when we really had a good time :rotfl:

Hope to join in if that's okay, as don't like to lurk & not add anything back.

    Welcome:T:T

Sorry for lots of multiquotes still catching up:)

Could try a mnemonic? How about: One Stripy Tiger Eats One Meaty Yoghurt Every Lunchtime If There Isn't Steak
