Im glad Im not the only one!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
talking about irons..
I washed the lounge curtains a couple of weeks ago, when it came to ironing them, I couldnt work out why the creases wouldnt come out, I turned the iron as high as it would go and still the creases wouldnt come out... when I checked the plug, it had come out slightly so I pushed it back in and while it was warming up I went to make myself a cuppa.. I got back to ironing forgetting that I had turned it right up, and yes, you guessed it, I burnt a hole in my curtains!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Nikki How's your arm by now?? xx
I think we're all a bit dopey on here!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It's because our brains are wired to glitches & deals and normal everyday stuff just goes out the window;)Arm is still sore, I think the tennis elbow has been sorted but where they did the op is really tender but I think it'll just take time..Fudge_Cake wrote: »Sorry just had to post the above 1st.....I'm back

Got to the last aisle thinking pointless trip when;
I spy with my little eye.....SOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!:j
I couldn't believe it! They haven't had any before so I was so shocked. So QOC they did make it down the M5:D After a round trip of 19 T's with no luck a week ago, I actually managed to get 10 packs in my local! :eek: Fabbydoodah! :T
My Grandfather hasn't long gone into a home and all his belongings keep goign missing so a good supply of socks to replace the missing ones will prove extremely handy!
But I really wanna take the time again to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Nikki because until yesterday I was very much in the sockless club until her very generous offer of some arrived in the post. Thank you for being so wonderful Nikki :T:D
Picked up some whoopsied fruit/veg and 1ps worth of whoopsied Haslet :rotfl: It was 1p so I had to buy it! :rotfl: And then nipped in A's on the way home. Too late for the really great whoopsies but picked up some whipping cream for 10p and 5p change had been left in the SS machine so really it cost me 5p:D Total spend £1.13 :T
You are so welcome;)cousinjack wrote: »Was it Nikki that suggested looking in the magazine isle for lambs?
Thank you I have found my sheep:D
It was me:T:T:TI keep finding things near the magazines and sandwiches;)
Morning all, DH has just left to catch the coach to Munich for his footie game tomorrow, bless him he's like a big kid and so excited (I paid for it as a treat for his birthday last month;)) so he's very happy.At least he'll be sitting on a coach with a big gang of other Chelsea fans waving his flags and I won't be getting a phone call to say he's caught the wrong train again;);):rotfl:
It's DS's last day at school and he was really sad this morning. He's got a leavers assembly then all the kids and teachers go to the pub:eek::eek:Which is kind of nice as they are all adults now and he has a fab group of teachers. So I shall be getting a phone call at some time today to collect a slightly pie eyed & emotional 18 year old:cool:
I am working all day but no doubt shall be slippng off to T's at some stage;)Hope everyones ok, just catching up now:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
