    It's Sods Law isn't it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Still. a steam generator for £24.50 (you forgot the extra 50p :p) isn't bad. I hope I'm wrong but I'd be amazed if they honour the irons for those hosting the parties. Seems too good to be true but then after so many fab deals that seemed too good to be true (1p Thorntons Eggs, Mission Control, Hotel Chocolat) maybe this will work out as well :D

    This is the info I got in my confirmation email Caz

    Congratulations! You've been selected to host one of our Philips Ironing house parties that you applied for recently.
    WHAT’S NEXT?
    Inviting Your Friends
    Remember - your Ironing party must take place on the weekend of 26 and 27 May (you can choose the day - just make sure you tell your guests). The next step is to invite your friends to your party

    Please invite at least 9 guests through the above link before the end of Wednesday 16 May. Otherwise we will not be able to send you your free Philips Ironing party pack. Only invitations sent through the above link will be counted. Remember...the home owner's prior permission where you plan to hold your party must always be obtained.
    What's in the Party Pack?

    Each Philips party pack will contain:
    • 1 Philips PerfectCare Iron
    • A massive poster for use in your party pics
    • Balloons
    • A Union Jack neck scarf
    • Lots of Union Jack tea-towels for everyone to have a go at ironing (get those Union Jacks ship-shape and crease-free for the Diamond Jubilee the following weekend!)
    • Some very useful wooden pegs (why do pegs always go missing?)
    • Delicious fresh fruit cocktail mixers from our friends at Funkin'
    • Some lovely cotton laundry bags to put everything in
    What Else Do I Need To Do?

    In order to qualify as a party host and receive a FREE Party Pack you must promise to:
    1. Invite at least 9 guests to your party through the above link before end of 16 May
    2. Host your Ironing party on 26 or 27 May with at least 9 friends
    3. Send us photos of your Philips Ironing party*
    4. Submit a written / video review of the brand new Philips PerfectCare iron*
    5. Answer a few online questions we'll send you at the end
    *Details will be on the Party Planner inside each Party Pack
    IMPORTANT! If we send you a Party Pack but you don't keep these promises then you're unlikely to be picked for future Come Round parties. What's more, we may require you to return the free Philips PerfectCare iron to us
    We'll be sending out the party packs soon after your guests have been confirmed.

    So providing I keep my side of the bargain - which I fully intend to - then the iron is mine to keep :T

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Im glad Im not the only one!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    talking about irons..
    I washed the lounge curtains a couple of weeks ago, when it came to ironing them, I couldnt work out why the creases wouldnt come out, I turned the iron as high as it would go and still the creases wouldnt come out... when I checked the plug, it had come out slightly so I pushed it back in and while it was warming up I went to make myself a cuppa.. I got back to ironing forgetting that I had turned it right up, and yes, you guessed it, I burnt a hole in my curtains!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Nikki How's your arm by now?? xx
