didn't i spot this morning someone saying sild is now full price:cool:
Just reading backwards, yes I did. In my Extra yesterday tomato one was £1.30 and sunflower still 32p. See lots of you still getting some for 32p, weird thing is today so did I. Superstore I visited had tomato for 32p but sunflower was £1.28. Ts doing a lovely job of confusing me.
Had an awful few hours yesterday as we had a power cut from 4pm until 1am. Was so worried about my 2 freezers full of whoopsies, lots free stuff from double multibuys and 1p BBQ stuff. But glad to say all stayed frozen. I was good and left the door/lid shut did not have a tempting peek. And all was well. :T
Met up with lovely Dodo again this morning and had a cuppa and chat in a Ts cafe of course.A big thanks to her for a lovely HoC pressie. :AWe got a few socks between us but nothing else.
But I decided to go further afield.
See my earlier news about the marmalade was old news, oops. But not seen anyone mention Wotsits today though. I forgot to look yesterday when the OP mentioned they were a good buy at £2 pack BOGOF, glad I didn't now as had no idea they were going to go through for £4.32 a pack and BOGOF today meaning free for me and some money off my shopping too. And added bonus SA charged me for 5 instead of 4. I worked out my few bits only cost me grand total of 4p. :j0 -
Just been checking my emails and noticed my Mydeco code was there. I've just ordered a lovely lamp morroccan style :jThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Just got back from T's
Found 12 bags of mothers day hearts so chose the SA that served us last week with the malteasters . She commented on what a bargain we had (again), then started to tell us about someone getting a bargain last week with the malteasters, we tried telling her it was us but she wouldn't listen and just carried on telling us :rotfl:
She also said the raisins were scanning at 33p last week, full price now.
Asked her to scan the sild first and it came up as £1.30  so put the 10 tins back, lucky I got 12 tins the other day
We told her about the wenches juice and cornettos and price check and she asked if we'd go shopping with her :rotfl:
Used the 2 fresh veg moc's so got £4 worth for £2
Also got 4 packs of chestnut mushrooms for £2
2 packs of mr kipling viennese whirls and 1 pk value choc chip cakes for 80p
No nik naks - don't stock them
No brunch bars - don't stock the choc chip
Done a separate jtd shop
1 Roaster chicken
2 x 6pk cornetto
1 pk 6 Ribena lollies
1 400ml Lynx shower gel ( used a 60p off clubcard moc)
Total after mocs and jtd £8.25
Dependant on how much the chicken compares I should get back around £50 -

Now the customer service person (note: I have used him a few times for DTD's and he's been completely cool about it!)
CS: why didn't you notice the total!:eek::eek::eek:
ME: Well I was paying my card and was using vouchers and didn't notice.
CS: *said something and hands me £6  in cash*
ME: Hang on a minute:D shouldn't that me £12, overcharge.
CS: No you said you were happy to pay the price they should have been.
ME: No I didn't:mad:
CS: Do you want me to get the manager, as we know what you're up to:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
ME: Yes! Excuse me but are you accusing me of something!
CS: *Goes of to phone manager*
CS: Okay I'll give it to you this one time, but we know what you're up to alright. Why won't you take the £6!
ME: You just said I was going to get the rest!!
CS: I'll put the rest on you're card.
ME: Well you're mistake for giving me £6 cash!!
CS: YES MY MISTAKE!:eek::eek::mad:
ME: *Puts card in*
ME: Mark I'll remember that name.
Another CS person: Is everything okay?
ME: no you have been overcharging people all day on these strawberries! (I had enough!)
CS: Well they should check their receipt! And yes I'm called MARK!
CS: *goes of to check the shelf/remove product*
ME: Great Customer service by the way!!!!
CS: No problem. (Note we were both in each others face and medium volume shouting:eek::eek:)
ME: Have a lovely day!!
*walked out, shaking a bit:(*
:eek::eek::eek: Talk about stressful
Might send an email. So angry! Luckily there wasn't a queue or else I would have been embarrassed.
That is so wrong  I would have said I'm just doing my shopping I don't price the goods, do the shelf labels or make the policy re overcharging, I have been overcharged the board behind you says If in the unlikely event ............................. I just read it to them till they give in. COMPLAIN to HO & don't do 3 bags or wombles for a while0 -
I knew it, i thought i read £2 but was charged £4.32 and i had to rush off without getting my dtd back. Ahhhh it better be there tomorrow.
Just wanted to add my congratulations too.
I found them on an end aisle, there were 16 packs of Walkers variety crisps which said £4.32 BOGOF but mentioned the Wotsits in the blurb about the multibuy. And the £2 BOGOF SEL for the Wotsits mentioned the variety packs. Was almost tempted to chuck a couple of those in my trolley but did not want to have to argue my case. As I thought I knew the Wotsits were definitely £2, I'm sure they scanned that yesterday.
For everyone asking about the 10p marmalade it is the one Miss Laid found originally at 20p and posted a pic of.0
