My DS may be highly intelligent but I think he is severely lacking in common sense;)He went to go for tutoring in London earlier and came back after 10 minutes looking very sheepish. He got nearly to the station before he realised he still had his slippers on!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:This is the 2nd time he's done it and he wonders why I worry about him going to uni, bless him:)
I think the highly intelligent ones are the daftest at times - well quite a lot of the time. DD lost her shoe under the train on the way to one of her university interviews. Luckily she had enough time and money with her to buy new shoes before the interview.0 -
I also went out on a whoopise run and by jove, I think I've cracked it :j (well, only regarding whoopsied flowers)
Went to A first, got my free milk and scanned the pampers sensitive wipes (bc 5114) but they were going through at £5, not the £2.50 some OP reported. Shame, as I was ready to stock up.
Wombled one measly receipt but less than 8 items.
Then on to T i go. I walked through the door at 8.05pm, just as the flowers were being whoopsied again.. got two lovely bunches worth £10.50 for £1.05 - yippee.
Got some more cakes, also bought 2 bags of pre packed lettuce on a BOGOF at £1 each. Then used my 50p MOC from price flop.
Got some reduced samosas for 30p for OH to snack on and a pack of reduced Trout (in some breadcrumbs/sauce) from £3.50 to 52p - my first proper whoopsie :j. Scanned loads of choccie but nothing there. A strange thing though, the Terrys Choc orange (normal) was empty apart from one battered looking lonely one. That shelf is always full so I scanned it to see - it still showed £2.75 so confused by that. Keep an eye on them in case.
Sorry for long post.Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -

Emmlouie - i live in a fairly big detached house but the rebuild value is less than half of our market value (i did our house insurance in april so remembered it easily). You are given a "guide" of cost rebuild using the builders something association (or whatever it is called) if you go via a price comparison site. remember to shop around.Tiger

There is the "K" bottom right hand corner
That is what you need to look out for. Sounds like some stores have put the marmalade where the non Kosher food is.
Was there something about that K being on the Tea bags that were going cheap as well? Or did I just completely imagine that?! TIA...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Never noticed that tbh, there is a Kosher section in the 1 T's I go to but all 47 of the marmalades I have found have been with the preserves not in the Kosher aisle0 -

I am in a much better mood today. Probably has something to do with the fact i have no work ALL weekend :j:j
With regards to the price flop coupons for cakes, how many are you putting through? I tried for the 1st time this morning and put 2 galaxy cake bars and 50p T's value cakes through and it flashed up "approval needed". Should i have put through 2 lots?
I am treating myself to my first Saturday off in a long time by doing a complete tour of Ply*outh T's
Just got back from T's used 9 x £1 cake flop vouchers with 21 packs of galaxy. 3 x£1 wench voucher for 3 lots of wench juice and son threw in 2 x Monster for£2.00. Not sure how the maths worked on this but I paid £8.17 in total :T:T:T This was on a manned tillIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
Socks are so much better for my waistline!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Magic tights would be good for mine but not been lucky to find those. I scanned the 1 pack ones like Snap-Ant said but they did all have AW12 on the back. Found a 2 pack with AW10 but they were full price.
Have managed quite a stash of socks 35 packs to date 3 already given away. Just realised that I had 102 pairs. Have been leaving loads behind they just keep resocking.0
